Sumit's parents, Sahna and Anil, don't want their 33-year-old son to get married to an older woman, who would soon need someone to take care of her.
They are also refusing to accept Sumit and Jenny's relationship due to the pressure from their relatives and society. The Palm Springs native moved to India to marry Sumit, but he doesn't want to marry her by going against his parents' wishes. 90 Day Fiancé star Sumit has been trying to convince his parents to accept Jenny as their daughter-in-law but has failed every time. This duo has been in a relationship for the past nine years. But Sumit is still struggling to take the plunge without his parents' permission.
