Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way brings back Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh; however, some fans are not happy about it. Sumit, who had catfished Jenny by claiming he was an American man Michael Jones, successfully wooed the Palm Springs grandmother after revealing his real identity as well, so much so that Jenny is still together with Sumit in India after dating him for almost a decade. However, some fans feel that Sumit is tricking Jenny, while some feel she’s desperate and insecure to stick by him. Some fans have questioned 90 Day Fiancé’s decision to get the couple back, but Jenny has posted a sassy message for her critics.
The first time Jenny was in India to meet Sumit, she stayed with his parents for four months. But when she returned the second time, found his new wife barging into the house she was staying in. The shock was too much for Jenny and fans trashed Sumit for being a scammer. Still, Jenny, madly in love with Sumit, flew to India a third time and waited until he got divorced so she could finally marry him. However, season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way ended with Sumit’s mother emotionally manipulating him and him finally not marrying Jenny and handing her a promise ring.
The trailer of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, shows Jenny Slatten is still in India, dodging monkeys, and, claiming, “I surprised myself with the lengths I’m willing to go to stay with Sumit.” Meanwhile, the ending of the first look didn’t shock anyone, as Jenny again questioned Sumit about when he would marry her and him saying, “I cannot change the situation.” On Facebook, Jenny revealed she was coming back for a third time on TOW with, “Season 3 Here we come, like it or not! 90 day fiancé the other way 😁✌️” as a caption for a set of selfies and photos of her and Sumit. The 90 Day Fiancé couple appeared to have been out for a coffee date at a mall, as Sumit and Jenny both showed off their weight loss progress.
After watching the first look for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, many fans have been unhappy about Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas returning. The couple has been accused of “frauding” by fans who believe that Corey and Evelin have been married for a long time. Jenny and Sumit had recently announced that they were engaged, although they kept it hush and did it via a cryptic Facebook video. Several clues suggesting Sumit and Jenny may have also already married have been discovered by 90 Day Fiancé fans, and as one fan posted in the trailer’s comments, “This has to be fake cause IG shows these couples happily together.”
It also appears that just like Corey and Evelin, Jenny and Sumit are also not exactly the favorites amongst some fans. Jenny tossing the chair in the trailer made many wonder if she’s finally over Sumit and will be packing her bags to finally get some closure and move on. At the same time, Jenny and Sumit’s social media updates tell a completely different tale, suggesting that for this 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple, everything does work out in the end.
