Jasmine Pineda doesn't like her boyfriend Gino Palazzolo’s ex-wife from Brazil because of one major reason on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The Panamanian woman’s jealousy has been a cause of concern amidst 90 Day Fiancé viewers since day 1. Jasmine asked Gino for evidence and reports every time he steps out of his house. The couple follows a “routine” because Jasmine wants to know where Gino is at all times. Sunday’s episode showed Jasmine getting upset over Gino paying a waitress a tip, and a preview for episode 4 has Jasmine taunting Gino about his first wife while being in the dark about his biggest secret.
Jasmine getting jealous concerns Gino because they often have arguments that result in them not talking to each other for a day. However, interrogating Gino about his whereabouts is why Jasmine claims she trusts him. Michigan native Gino lied to Jasmine about his age, which led Jasmine to start doubting whatever he said. Still, Jasmine remained confident about Gino not lying to her about other things since she keeps tabs by getting on video calls with him. “Men, generally speaking, are cheaters” is Jasmine’s motto, while Gino believes that she is insecure about losing him.
Jasmine also appears to have a hunch about Gino not having gotten over his ex-wife, which may or may not be true. In a sneak peek at the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, as posted by 90 Day Fiancé on YouTube, Jasmine takes Gino sightseeing and souvenir shopping following the restaurant incident. Gino says he wants something for his house, which is a perfect opportunity for American lit teacher Jasmine to say that he should decorate his house with things that remind him of her country and not his "stupid ex-wife." In her interview, she confesses, “I hate that Gino has a past.” She mentions the “Brazilian girl” he was married to before and the fact that “his house screams her, every corner,” based on what she’s seen of it on video chat.
Jasmine shares that if they're going to have a future together, and if he expects her to move to the United States, she won't live “in a house that someone else decorated.” Jasmine senses that Gino is defensive when she calls his ex “stupid” and asks him if he has a problem with it. The truth is that Gino and Jasmine have argued after he’s brought up his exes, so he knows that he needs to deflect the topic if and when it arises. Moreover, Gino is not as innocent as he seems.
The “ghosts of the past” may be dead for Jasmine, but Gino has not been completely honest about his exes with his future wife. He fears what will happen when Jasmine finds out that Gino has remained friends with one of his ex-girlfriends. He could have been referring to the woman who recently claimed that Gino has been harassing her over e-mails for years since she didn’t know how to block him there. The same woman was allegedly sent nude photos of Jasmine, something that will be a turning point of their storyline on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. But Gino and Jasmine’s social media shenanigans point towards them still being together, so this ex-girlfriend may not have been much of a threat to Jasmine.
