Jasmine Pineda disappointed several 90 Day Fiancé fans by taking Gino Palazzolo back despite him texting her private photos to his ex. Fans felt Jasmine’s anger towards Gino was justified after he broke her trust while wanting to make his “sugar baby” ex-girlfriend jealous. Known as a naive divorced man, Gino has been compared to fellow 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days star Big Ed Brown. Some TLC viewers have been clamoring to have Gino kicked out of the franchise. On the other hand, the same Jasmine - who ripped Gino’s precious hat off his head when he claimed her topless pictures weren’t nudes - also got back together with him in episode 10.
While Jasmine and Gino were having the time of their lives in San Jose for Christmas, the Panamanian woman received DMs from Gino’s ex about him texting her behind Jasmine’s back. Gino denied chatting with his ex, but Jasmine caught his lie and found out that he had done a despicable act to taunt his former girlfriend. A heartbroken Jasmine also realized Gino paid women to go on dates with him and told him she was relieved she was taking birth control pills behind his back. As per Jasmine, it was also the last time the “depressing” Gino would ever see her again. In a different scene that almost turned physical, Jasmine threatened Gino she would publish his private photos telling him he’s “not a man” until the producers intervened. In a scene from the following morning, however, Gino was seen weeping while admitting he’d lost Jasmine who then visited his room to fetch her purse before leaving the island.
On the show, Jasmine and Gino went for a walk by the beach, which is where she heard his apology of “it’s not gonna happen again” and gave him a surprising second chance. “At the end of the story, Gino I want what most people want just to be loved,” confessed Jasmine as the couple exchanged their love yous. “I know he lied to me, many people would think like ‘You’re stupid. Why are you forgiving him?’ It’s just like how he look at me,” admitted Jasmine. “Gino is a dirtbag of the highest order and Jasmine needs to leave him. He betrayed her s*xually. His revenge excuse makes it worse. If she stays then she says that personal violation is acceptable,” a fan tweeted out (seen below) after watching the scenes with Gino and Jasmine. Another fan wrote, “Oh man, I can't believe Jasmine is forgiving him. Those two deserve each other [face palm emoji].”
Meanwhile, fans started a Reddit saying, “I was completely crying when Jasmine was berating Gino for everything he did. I felt her anger!!!! I got stupidly angry at Gino too!!!! And then the next Jasmine Gino scene. What the hell was that!!!!” A fan replied, “I'm starting to wonder if Jasmine isn't just a superb actress and they didn't plan this whole thing. Who tf would forgive someone that quickly?” Jasmine coming back for her purse and leaving with Gino riled up 90 Day Fiancé fans who wanted to give her a hug after watching the previous scenes. Moreover, Gino seemingly showed zero remorse for what he had done during the hat-fight - a red flag that Jasmine shouldn’t have ignored.
In real-time, Jasmine has stopped using her main Instagram account after accusing Gino’s ex of sending the aforementioned private pictures to her job and getting Jasmine fired. In return, Gino’s ex denied all of these claims and asked Jasmine to blame Gino for having circulated the photos in the first place. With that said, Gino is continuing to post sweet memories from his Panama stay in December 2020 with his Instagram followers as if nothing has changed. Fans have reasons to believe that 90 Day Fiancé couple Gino and Jasmine are still together and that she has learned nothing from this painful experience.
