In a preview clip for the next episode, 90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda was inconsolable after finding out who the “real” Gino Palazzolo is. Panama City dweller Jasmine crossed paths with Michigan man Gino on an international dating website before making her way to 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. The 51-year-old Gino fell in love with 34-year-old Jasmine’s beauty and brains and expressed how he wanted her to get pregnant and have her be his second wife. However, Jasmine’s jealous side made Gino rethink his decision until the tables turned. Jasmine found out that Gino is still in love with his ex, whom he was in a sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship with after he sent her Jasmine’s unclothed photos.
Before flying to Panama, Gino’s family was worried that Jasmine was just using him for his money and a Green Card. But upon reaching her country, fans saw Gino being stingy and giving Jasmine a toothbrush for a Christmas gift when he had spent lavishly on his sugar babies and their dinner dates. Gino’s past wasn’t revealed until one of his exes DM’d Jasmine about how he’d been sharing private photos of the single mom with her. In 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days episode 9, Jasmine lashed out at Gino for making her look like an “explosive Latina” and called him “depressing” and “sick.” Jasmine threw away Gino’s toothbrush and admitted that she never saw him as an old man who had to pay for sex and company.
A preview released by 90 Day Fiancé on YouTube for episode 10 shows Jasmine after she stormed out of Gino’s room in San Jose and headed to the beach with a drink to drown her grief. She says she’s still trying to understand how she could have been so wrong about Gino and his intentions. “I know it was too good to be true,” Jasmine scoffs and admits that she did wonder why Gino was 52 years old and still single. “I do believe he’s still in love with his ex because I sent him nudes and he said, ‘Oh, perfect, I’m gonna make my ex-girlfriend be jealous,'” Jasmine deduces. Through tears, she mutters, “But that’s not fair because it was for him, you know?” The American Lit teacher is inconsolable as she adds that Gino “pretended to be sweet, a good person, hard-working,” but she really fell in love “with a ghost.”
According to Jasmine, that Gino doesn’t even exist, and he was just in her imagination. “That person is just in my dreams. The real Gino, I got to know him today,” Jasmine speaks through tears. She sobs that she learned it the hard way. Meanwhile, Gino is back at his resort room commenting that he feels stupid as he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jasmine, who was “the one,” but now everything is completely messed up. “I can’t defend what I did, but I wish Jasmine could understand that I would never deliberately hurt her because I love Jasmine more than I ever thought I could love a woman,” Gino confesses to the 90 Day Fiancé producers.
Gino is now claiming that if he loses Jasmine, he will never be able to find love again. But fans feel it's better if Jasmine just ended things with Gino as what he did was disrespectful and he is a creep. It’s evident that Jasmine has real feelings for Gino, unlike what fans usually observe between 90 Day Fiancé couples. The way Jasmine bawls about Gino betraying her is proof enough that she cared. But does it also mean that Jasmine will forgive Gino just as easily? Because love does make one do foolish things.
