Jasmine Pineda addresses rumors about being Gino Palazzolo's “sugar baby" on 90 Day Fiancé. Gino has been dealing with Jasmine’s insecurity and expensive demands on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. She exploded over the blue and red paint chosen by Gino’s ex-wife for his house, lied about being on birth control, and later embarrassed Gino by dancing with a stripper. Additionally, Jasmine has taken to treating Gino like a walking cash machine. She expected him to spend $500 on a shopping spree and refused to accept an electric toothbrush as a Christmas gift. Jasmine also guilt-tripped Gino into shelling out $2500 for their island trip to San Jose.
The couple genuinely seemed to enjoy it until Gino’s ex messaged Jasmine on Instagram about Gino still talking to her behind Jasmine’s back. Even worse, Jasmine discovered Gino sent his ex naked pictures of her. As per information revealed by this alleged ex of Gino’s on platforms such as Reddit, she met the Michigan man on a seeking arrangement kind of website. Jasmine told Gino, “You can go back hunting on your website and find another stupid woman like me,” after an argument. This sparked rumors of Jasmine being his “sugar baby."
However, in an interview with ET, Jasmine addressed Gino's history, saying, "Whether it’s true or not, we all have a past and I cannot judge Gino from what he did in his past relationships.” She also addressed the misconceptions some viewers have about her being a “gold digger.” Jasmine explained, “If I’m going to date someone for his money, it’s gonna be, like, filthy rich. You know, like a millionaire, tons of money! If there is no love involved, I’m gonna find a man that's, like, super, super rich.” That won’t be someone like Gino who is “more, like, average," according to Jasmine. Jasmine also said she laughs about such misconceptions, adding, “give me a break.”
Jasmine also explained that she fell for Gino because he’s “very mature,” “calm,” and “just the opposite” of her personality. Jasmine dispelled the accusations of being after Gino for a green card or his money by claiming she already was living a comfortable life in Panama due to her profession. “I like him physically, first of all,” Jasmine said. "I believe he is a very attractive man, like, his physical characteristics, I like it. I have never felt attracted to men that are younger than me, that's something in like, all my relationships,” Jasmine revealed. She has always dated people who are “at least five to 10 years older” than her.
Judging by the way Jasmine didn’t speak ill of Gino, it seems likely they are still together now. In fact, she really only had positive things to say about him. They both came into the 90 Day Fiancé relationship with some baggage, but it sounds like Jasmine is willing to put Gino's past aside and focus on their future. Likewise, Gino isn't deterred by Jasmine's sometimes erratic behavior and seems committed to their relationship. Viewers should find out soon if they were able to make it work outside of the show. Though Jasmine and Gino seemed like a wildcard couple at the beginning of the Before the 90 Days season, it now looks like they may have a real chance at longevity in their relationship.
