The world saw two ladies of 90 Day Fiancé, Rebecca Parrott, and Stephanie Davison, bring back the pigtail trend on season 8 episode 14. However, there was something amiss about Stephanie’s hair. Here’s how Stephanie’s stylish pigtails gave away that the scene between her and Harris on 90 Day Fiancé may have been faked.

Armed with booty-call Harris as her new partner on 90 Day Fiancé, Stephanie dodged calls from Ryan’s mother Dorla who feared that her son may have gone missing. Overwhelmed with the stress from Ryan’s mother, Stephanie asked his cousin Harris to “plan something fun” and “surprise her.” Of course, Harris did graduate from couch to four-poster bed by feeding Stephanie a mega pour of her favorite wine. “I trust Harris a 100%,” declared Stephanie, about her new Belizian boyfriend. However, amidst this budding toxic 90 Day Fiancé relationship, fans were the ones bothered by Stephanie’s multiple hairstyles in one scene.

True to his word, Harris took Stephanie’s advice of “the cost doesn’t matter” seriously, when he gifted his 90 Day Fiancé partner her favorite $15 wine. Grand Rapids resident Stephanie, who admitted to never having been drunk or on pills recently on her IG, asked Harris to fill that thing “to the rim.” As the TLC pair poured “that puppy up” and Harris confessed “I want to be with your body, girl,” Stephanie asked him if he cared about Ryan getting upset if they got together. “I love you so much,” said Harris, forgetting about his baby mama back home, but viewers couldn’t help but be distracted by Stephanie’s hair being tied in one moment and loose in the other. Instagram fan account @90day_e11 explained, “Watch Stephanie’s hair in this scene… we all know that TLC is the king of editing storylines, but they had to work overtime  to get a coherent, cohesive conversation out of Stephanie.”

The 90 Day Fiancé page received comments on the post, such as, “I saw that and it drove me crazy,” “literal 6 times back and forth,” and “I was so annoyed! I noticed her hair the whole time!!!! Bad editing.” On a Reddit thread discussing this 90 Day Fiancé scene between Stephanie and Harris, one fan theorized that while the conversation flows naturally, it was “obvious it was spliced together.”

The TLC viewer continued, “Makes me wonder how often conversations are spliced to get the dramatic crap they try to infer,” as a different viewer claimed that a scene with Natalie from the same 90 Day Fiancé episode also had inconsistencies. While Natalie was seen getting into her bed to make a video call to friend Svetlana, she had her socks on, but in the next moment, the socks disappeared. Season 8 had been dragged for a scene between Mike and Natalie where she had a change of footwear during a fight. In conclusion, one may think that while season 8 has been filled to the rim with complications like Stephanie’s glass, the drama might as well be a 90 Day Fiancé creation.
