Hamza Moknii of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise cleared up rumors about having a new girlfriend after separating from his wife Memphis Smith. Hamza from Tunisia met Memphis on an international dating website some seven months before they got married on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. That trip was the first time that the couple saw each other in person, and it was barely two weeks later that they wed. A week after their wedding, Hamza and Memphis also ended up pregnant. While Memphis left for America immediately, Hamza eventually reunited with her and the baby sometime in 2021.
Hamza’s appearance at the Before the 90 Days Tell-All was a surprise to many. But absolutely nothing about what happened to Hamza and Memphis after the finale was revealed in the reunion episode. Whatever fans have found out about the couple’s current relationship status is through social media. From what those following Memphis on Instagram observed, things started going downhill for the pair after Hamza’s arrival in the U.S. Hamza has implied that he’s staying away from his baby and Memphis. Memphis recently confirmed her split by writing that she’s a single mom in one of her IG posts.
Hamza appears to be staying in Chicago as of now, and not in Michigan with Memphis. He’s keeping most of his private life under wraps, but Hamza has been spotted out and about in the Windy City by a few TLC viewers. Hamza put up an Instagram story in which he wrote that he ends up meeting a lot of people in America who like to take pictures with him. However, Hamza wants to let 90 Day Fiancé fans know that if any picture of him with a woman is circulated with rumors of it being his new girlfriend, fans should not believe them. “I appreciate & respect all people,” Hamza added.
“I never say no to anyone for this,” he explained. Hamza wrote that he saw someone saying that he has “someone new” but claims that is “not the truth.” Hamza further added that if he is seen in any photos at all, he’s with some “nice people” he meets as he goes about his day in the American city. “Love & Respect to all of you,” said Hamza, with a couple of smiling face emojis. However, he seems to be moving on from Memphis, and Hamza recently showed a different side to him on his Instagram feed by uploading a shirtless selfie. Fans have noticed how Hamza has been spending a lot of time at the gym. Perhaps the Kairouan native Hamza wanted to show off his results, but he did so while disabling the comments on his post.
Hamza appears to be trying his hand at modeling as a career in the U.S. He’s been getting in touch with local photographers, and professionally shot photos are showing up on Hamza’s Instagram profile. Hamza's recent weight loss also seems to be helping him in this case, even though he claims it was because of his fasting for Ramzan and from stress. The stress could possibly be because of Hamza having to deal with the distance between him and his baby. Yet, Hamza himself has asked 90 Day Fiancé fans to not make any assumptions about him, as it’s plausible that they’ll soon find out about his and Memphis’ secrets in a new TLC series.
