However, viewers believe that Hamza shares equal blame. Hamza’s mother showed a rare franchise open-mindedness and acceptance towards welcoming Memphis into her home despite their lifestyle differences. Memphis was upset when Hamza revealed he lied about them being able to share a bed in his mother's house, as she said that she wouldn't marry Hamza if they didn't have sex first. This led to Hamza sneaking into bed with Memphis on her first night in his mother's home, despite her separate beds until marriage rule. Hamza's mother was very upset when she woke Memphis up in the morning and saw Hamza in the room, fallout which will be explored in the next episode.

Although Memphis said that she needed to have sex with Hamza before marrying him to test their physical compatibility, viewers think that she has way more things that should come first.
