Yara's behavior on-screen has been earning her increasing viewer criticism, while fans also think she misses the mark on social media. Yara was accused of being tone-deaf, as well as promoting an inauthentic and materialistic lifestyle on social media. Fortunately 90 Day Fiancé star Yara has the support of her mother-in-law Gwen.

Yara claimed that she needed to put Mylah to bed and everyone must leave, but viewers found her behavior to be inappropriate and rude.
Gwen demonstrated why she is considered such a great mother-in-law by taking to her Instagram to defend Yara after the new Happily Ever After episode aired. Jovi's mom shared a sweet snap of her, Yara, Mylah, and her husband Monty, as well as a photo of just herself and Yara. "Before anyone decides to send us negative comments, remember Yara is our family and we love her regardless of what the outside world thinks. Positive comments are very welcome. Be positive.
