In a surprising turn of events, Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days are back together, and engaged. After two intense arguments with Geoffrey’s ex - and maybe current - girlfriend, Mary Wallace, Varya’s future with Geoffrey seemed doomed. The reconciliation came on the finale of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on Sunday night.
Varya and Geoffrey’s rocky relationship began online, and Geoffrey decided to visit his Russian girlfriend at the beginning of the show. While in Russia, they bonded, they fought; and then Varya turned down Geoffrey’s proposal. Geoffrey returned to Knoxville, Tennessee, defeated, and sure things were over. Varya thought her message was clear: I’m not ready yet, but I will be soon. Three months later, Varya decided to surprise Geoffrey at his home in Knoxville. To her dismay, his ex Mary Wallace was at his house when she arrived. The two had a blowout argument, while Geoffrey stood aside and didn’t stand up for either of them. Mary left in tears, while Varya was invited to spend time with Geoffrey’s friends.
As reported by Entertainment Tonight, in the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Varya and Geoffrey grew closer. Geoffrey took Varya to meet his sons and got their approval. Varya hinted to Geoffrey that she wanted him to propose again, picking up her glass of wine on a night out and looking inside for a ring. Geoffrey took her to a romantic location where people write their wishes on a wall and ring a bell to make them come true. He then popped the question, and Varya accepted. They both wrote that they wished to start a family together.
Although the tell-all episode was leaked, Geoffrey and Varya did not attend, so there is still a question as to whether they are still together. Both have been tight lipped about it on Instagram, telling fans to wait for their own tell-all, which will be up on YouTube soon. Many fans said previously that Varya dodged a bullet saying no to Geoffrey’s proposal, as he has since been accused of assaulting a former girlfriend.
These charges have not yet been resolved, as the court date has been pushed due to COVID-19. Geoffrey has repeatedly stated that he is innocent, but he has been convicted of drug charges before. Varya knew about the drug charges when she accepted his proposal, but the assault charges came later. Their relationship promises more drama; will the second time be the charm?
