The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days had so many ups and downs. Russia-based Varya Malina unexpectedly arrived at her American boyfriend's house, thinking that it would be a cute gesture. However, it turns out he has already moved on with his ex-girlfriend, Mary Wallace. To many fans, this quarreling sequence seemed planned. However, Paschel claims that it was organic, and his new girlfriend had a legit reason for staying back at his house.
Many viewers argue that Varya never said a firm ‘No’ to Geoffrey's proposal. She just said that she wanted some time and stated they were rushing into things. However, Geoffrey took it the wrong way and decided to break all the ties. After his potential fiancée turned down the proposal in Russia, he got back to his home country and instantly planned to move on. Shortly after, the 41-year-old was on a romantic dinner date with Mary, an old flame who previously showed interest in dating him. While on the other side, Varya realized her immense love for the ex-con and decided to give him a surprise. Little did she know, she was the one getting surprised on this trip.
When Varya arrived at Paschel’s doorstep, she saw another woman, and the conundrum began to unfold. Obviously, the Russian beauty was furious to see Mary and ended up calling her a "b*tch." However, this confrontation looked right out of a textbook to many viewers. One fan tweeted that the whole sequence was staged, and there is no reality left in this show. But, Paschel claims that it was indeed a surprise for him. Check out his recent post below:
He explained, “I was caught in the moment. You saw my sh*t eating grin. I didn’t know what to do. She (Mary) came over, she drank a little bit so I didn’t let her drive kind of thing.” He continued, “The doorbell rang, and I assumed it was production because they were going to come over and film some b-roll. They had no idea Mary was there. They had zero ideas. So there was no communication to that because they were tending to Varya.” Well, we (kind of) believe his statement. The way he was smirking when the girls were fighting for him was real! He showed his true colors, and the whole world saw that. If he was acting, he would have tried to be more mature and handled the situation in a much better way.
He won't have enjoyed being the center of attention and let the drama stretch to that extent. We think that he has now lost both the women who were truly in love with him. We feel sorry for Varya, who had to travel all the way from her hometown only to find that her man is already seeing another woman. Also, it’s sad to see Mary, who has always been there for him, get heartbroken. She might have started planning her future with Geoffrey, but we suppose, those plans are now tossed in the trash.
