The reality star’s post is polarizing, and it is understandable why many of her followers did not appreciate it. She has also built a great life in the country and has reached many career milestones while traveling around gorgeous locations such as Miami. Therefore, those critical fans don't think she should be insulting America by joking about depression. Even if Fernanda didn’t have good things to say about the U.S., she was probably better off not mocking it publicly.
Fernanda likely aimed to make her post amusing by showing that her home country is extremely relaxing and picturesque. Unfortunately, she did it at the expense of making fun of depression and the country where she has thrived professionally. Still, it appears that Fernanda was probably following the latest social media trend where people mock one place to prove their favorite place is better. Over the years, the former 90 Day Fiancé star has never commented negatively about America, which shows she doesn’t necessarily hate the place where she built her career.
