The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has always been accused of scripting onscreen action, and people who follow the OG show and spinoffs are now particularly suspicious of recent splits. This is because a fan spotted a handful of cast members filming new content together. Angela Deem, Kalani Faagata, Asuelu Pulaa, Yara Zaya, and Liz Woods were photographed with cameras in Florida. This has sparked a conversation about couples seemingly faking arguments to be cast on what appears to be a new spin-off show. Now, 90DF fans are suspicious of several of the recent splits in the franchise.

The extended 90 Day Fiancé franchise features nearly two dozen spin-off shows, but there is a good chance that viewers will soon receive even more new content. Fans have already experienced couples marrying in the United States, settling down abroad, meeting for the first times, and looking for love. What is currently missing from the franchise is a show that focuses on repairing fractured relationships. However, viewers are also highly suspicious of the fighting that occurs between 90 Day Fiancé couples, as a number of cast members (such as Kalani and Asuelu) have been called out for staging marital issues. Fans think that they're doing so in order to continue their runs in the extended franchise.

Do 90 Day Fiancé Couples Fake Splits?

Instagram fan account @90dayfianceupdate shared photos of 90 Day Fiancé cast members Kalani, Asuelu, Yara, Liz, and Angela filming together at Isla Bella Beach Resort in the Florida Keys. “I knew the Kalani and Asuelu divorce was made-up drama..those two are solid. Thoughts?,” the fan account asked commenters. Numerous users agreed that the split between Kalani and Asuelu appeared suspicious from the start.

Other duos were called out as well. “People, WAKE UP. All the storylines are fake," an IG user remarked. They added, "The whole drama with Ed, Liz, Angela, Michael is all made up and scripted. Its sad to see TLC gaslighting the fans and even sadder that people actually get invested with these peoples lives...smh."

Now that fans spotted Kalani and Asuelu filming, possibly for upcoming 90 Day Fiancé content, viewers have called into question other franchise splits, including the notorious The Family Chantel divorce between Chantel and Pedro Jimeno. “I always felt like there was something fishy about Asuelo and Kalani's “divorce." I got the same vibes about Chantal and Pedro as well,” a fan shared, while commenting on the same post. “How did episode 1 and just next week episode 2 they hate each other ? Like what ????," a confused user wrote back, referring to the sudden progression of Chantel and Pedro’s divorce. “Could the family Chantel divorce be fake?! Omg that would be the trick,” another commenter exclaimed.

While many 90 Day Fiancé fans are suspicious of the cast members who were filming together, viewers also expressed annoyance for other reasons. Angela and Big Ed were heavily criticized for being cast on Happily Ever After season 7, given the atrocious way that they treat their partners and fellow cast members. However, the fan photos seem to indicate that both 90 Day Fiancé villains will be back for more spin-off show content in the future. TLC therefore ignored loud viewer demands to rid the franchise of perpetual villains, while fans also requested that newer couples be featured, rather than casting the same pairs, season after season.
