Fans were shocked to see Paul posting selfies with this new female “friend.” In 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1, the then-35 year old Paul traveled to Brazil to meet his online girlfriend, Karine Martins. From the moment Paul met Karine, then 21, he didn’t trust her. Viewers had their doubts about Paul as well, because of his jealous behavior, odd mannerisms, and seeming inability to hold down a job. Eventually, Paul revealed to Karine that he had a criminal history involving arson. He then famously ran away before he could see her reaction.
Concerned viewers thought that Karine was the one who should have run away from Paul. Despite this, the Brazilian woman married Paul and moved to the U.S. to be with her partner. The couple went on to have two sons, Ethan and Pierre. Although Paul and Karine were allegedly fired from 90 Day Fiancé, they continued to remain in the news. Videos surfaced online of the couple fighting, often in front of their children. Shortly after a video came out showing Karine being rough with Paul during an argument, they filed for divorce. There were rumors Paul got custody of Ethan and Pierre, and some fans spotted the Kentucky man on Tinder in Orlando.
Around half a year after his split from Karine, Paul recently took to Instagram with a selfie that shocked his followers. The photo depicted him and a young woman, whom he tagged in the photo. The former 90 Day Fiancé star simply captioned the photo “met a new friend.” The woman, identified as @kas__idy, shared the same photo on her page as well. 90 Day Fiancé fans took to her photo to express their concern for her, given Paul’s previous relationship and his past. A Redditor named u/booowser uploaded the photo onto Reddit, saying "imagine knowing literally anything about [Paul] and deciding to have a relationship with him."

Other Redditors commented on the post, bringing up Paul's wild antics, such as lugging a bunch of bags to Brazil or his classic running away move. Some Reddit users also mentioned Kasidy looks much younger than Paul, who is now almost 40. On Instagram, neither Paul nor his new “friend” provided any information as to their relationship or how they met. It’s unclear whether the two are romantically involved, or just friends. Although Paul has his Instagram comments turned off, Kasidy does not. Some of Paul's followers accused his new friend of simply posing with him because she was chasing clout or trying to get on TV. Kasidy denied all of these allegations, often with a sassy comment.
Paul seems to be seeking new friends after his divorce, and his ex Karine also appears to be doing well. The mother of two has taken on a completely different look since splitting from Paul, which has stunned fans. Karine also recently explained that wants to stay in the U.S. for her two sons, even though she's getting divorced, stating that Kentucky feels like home to her now. Since the couple were apparently fired from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, it seems unlikely that viewers will be able to get their news about this dramatic duo from any TLC shows. Instead, 90 Day Fiancé fans will probably have to learn all about Paul and Karine solely through any cryptic Instagram selfies.
