90 Day Fiancé fans are showing their support for Shaeeda Sween after her husband Bilal Hazziez's ex-wife Shahidah threatened to get physically aggressive with her. Shaeeda and Bilal first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, when Shaeeda moved to Bilal's hometown of Kansas City from her home country of Trinidad and Tobago. The couple had several disagreements over the course of their 90 days, over topics such as having children and prenup agreements. Ultimately Shaeeda and Bilal chose to put their struggles aside, and they got married at the end of the season.
Bilal's ex-wife Shahidah was also a source of conflict for the couple, as she made Shaeeda uncomfortable when she pressed her to sign a prenup. Shahidah has returned along with Shaeeda and Bilal for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After season 7, and the group has still not resolved their issues. The couple's new storyline begins as they go to meet Shahidah at a local cafe, where Shaeeda expresses that she wishes to receive an apology from Shahidah. Shahidah does not take well to this and even stands up while arguing with Shaeeda also threatening to get physical with her.
After Shahidah threatened Shaeeda, fans on Reddit quickly came to her defense and complimented her for handling the situation with class. Reddit user United-Gain1839 posted a picture of Shahidah screaming at Shaeeda, writing that Bilal should have defended Shaeeda during the incident. When the conversation began to get intense between the women, Muslim man Bilal started to pray as opposed to joining the conversation or supporting Shaeeda.
Many users in the comments were quick to agree, adding that Shahidah had no place being as involved in Shaeeda and Bilal's relationship as she was. Others added that Bilal and Shahidah were actually similar in many ways, as they both were obsessed with control. On the other hand, they commended Shaeeda for handling the situation calmly and not getting aggressive in response towards Shahidah.
Not only did Bilal not defend Shaeeda, but he even placed blame for the incident on her. In the trailer for next week's episode, Shaeeda brings Bilal breakfast in bed where he tells her that he is very disappointed in her. Shaeeda then tearfully admits to Bilal that she does not understand what she is doing wrong and that she feels the blame always falls on her. During the couple's time on 90 Day Fiancé, many fans felt that Bilal was manipulative and controlling towards Shaeeda. It seems that Bilal and Shaeeda have not completely moved past this issue and still have a lot to work out.
