90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee had suffered a miscarriage last year. The mommy-of-two decided to address this tragic incident on-camera. And for a change, most fans have come together to support her in this situation.
In September last year, Deavan's pregnancy news got leaked when she shared her personal details on a Facebook group called "Western girls married to Korean guys." In her post, she wrote that she is pregnant in Korea but doesn't have international health insurance or knows how it works in Korea. She was concerned about her baby's health and worried about how much it would cost to have a child there. She was even contemplating going back to her home country to deliver the baby. The 23-year-old reality TV star was disappointed to know that her personal information got leaked. She called that FB group her "safe place," told her fans that she isn't "going to speak about it" anymore. However, in October, she shared heart-wrenching news on her Instagram. Deavan told her IG followers that she and Jihoon had suffered a miscarriage and said, "I want to apologize for not telling anyone sooner." In the last episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, she talked about her pain, "It was the hardest thing in my life. I was just very devastated."
Deavan and Jihoon might not come across as a very loving couple because they are always bickering about their problems. But, after watching the last episode and knowing that they had to experience a miscarriage, many fans are feeling sympathetic towards them. Many 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers are now coming in support of the couple, especially, Deavan. A Reddit user said although she "haaaate(s) Deavan," but no woman "should have to experience a miscarriage." She applauded her courage to tell her story and remove the "stigma" around miscarriages.
Another fan also affirmed that she hates watching Deavan on TV, but "she was brave to talk about it and I appreciate her bringing her perspective to it." Somebody else said that fans could dislike cast members for their actions on the show, but they should still "have compassion for when they experience hardship."
But, there are some other 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers who think that the TLC star isn't being genuine but "dramatic," her miscarriage "was meant to be," and since she was so early in the pregnancy, her baby wasn't "real." Somebody else called her "irresponsible" and that she shouldn't be a mother again. Still, a fan is moved to see that after this tragic experience, Deavan and Jihoon got closer and now planning for their future.
