Being stuck in quarantine has made several people binge on 90 Day Fiancé. And with its seven seasons and seven spin-offs, the TLC reality show makes for the perfect guilt-free entertainment. Not surprisingly, amongst these new fans, are also many celebrities. Recently, it was Trisha Paytas who wowed fans with her Darcey Silva Halloween costume, and today, Seth Rogen shocked TLC viewers with his tweet about Colty! Here’s what the Superbad star had to say about 90 Day Fiancé’s bad boy Colt Johnson and his mother Debbie, amidst the elections.

What’s not to love about 90 Day Fiancé? The TLC show that premiered in 2014, has got everything from couples with divorce drama to debatable age-gaps. One such headline-making duo was season 7’s self-proclaimed mama's boy Colt Johnson and Larissa Lima Dos Santos. With the Las Vegas resident’s third-wheeling mom Debbie, the TLC pair made a long list of critics and fans alike. For starters, Colt still being driven around by his mom for work, as she also did his laundry and cooked for him at 35 was hilariously odd.  But while most fans approve of  Jess Caroline’s “trash man” comment about Colt, the software engineer and Debbie have given 90 Day Fiancé some of it’s most epic moments. And Seth Rogen certainly agrees.

The pop-culture icon Rogen best known for movies such as Pineapple Express and Sausage Party first showed a glimpse of his inner 90 Day Fiancé fanboy when he appeared on Good Morning America with wife Lauren Miller Rogen. When asked if the couple who’s been married for nine years learned anything new about each other during quarantine, Rogen replied, “We’re okay sitting at home all day together as long as they keep making more 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs.” Rogen took his love for the TLC show to Twitter today when he used it as a reference to talk about the delayed election results in Nevada. Rogen, who obviously knows that it is also the home state to 90 Day Fiancé duo Colty and Debbie, posted his now-viral tweet and sent TLC viewers in a frenzy.

It all comes down to Colty and his mother,” wrote the This Is The End star, and his replies have been filled with comments from shocked fans. “Seth Rogen w/ the #90DayFiancé reference has made my post-election day,” wrote a fan, and another one quote tweeted asking, “can we get an episode of pillow talk with Seth Rogen.” Rogen’s tweet with thousands of retweets and counting also didn’t go unnoticed by Colt himself. The reality TV star himself shared a screenshot of it on his Instagram.

90 Day Fiancé’s popularity seems to have been on a steadier rise than ever before during the pandemic as people yearned to watch a show that’s equal parts entertaining and intriguing. The reality series’ contestants including the infamous Big Ed Brown, and Rose Marie Vega have made way to many-a-meme. Now with stars like Seth Rogen joining the ever-growing list of 90 Day Fiancé fans, one can only expect it’s success to skyrocket. After all, it was Rogen who’d famously said, “Most comedy comes out of misery.”
