90 Day Fiancé fans are questioning Usman "Sojaboy" Umar's gift to Kim Menzies' son Jamal on a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. Usman and Kim first appeared together on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 5, when the two made their relationship official after meeting in person. Usman and Kim are currently starring on Happily Ever After season 7, where they became engaged. Kim has now decided to visit Usman in Nigeria with Jamal, so that the two could finally meet in person.
Usman decided to give Jamal a gift to show him that he was a good guy, and generously gave Jamal a PS5. Kim had previously given Usman a PS5 on Before The 90 Days, and fans on Reddit quickly began to speculate that this was the same PS5 Usman gave to Jamal. Reddit user Epapa217 began a thread and asked, "Who else thinks Sojaboy regifted the PS5 to Jamal?" Jamal even pointed out that the gift was ironic as Kim had previously given Usman the same thing, leading fans to think that Jamal suspected Usman regifted him the device as well.
Other 90 Day Fiancé Fans Suspected Kim Secretly Bought The PS5
While some fans thought that Usman gave Jamal the same PS5 Kim had originally given him, other fans had a different theory. One fan commented, "I think Kim BOUGHT another PS5, and has Usman giving the second one to Jamal to win him over." Others in the comments were quick to agree, as Kim seems determined to make Jamal like Usman. Fans were also confused as to how Usman would have been able to purchase a PS5, if Kim had to bring him one as he presumably did not have access to one.
Kim and Usman's relationship was not easily accepted by their friends and family, including Jamal. Jamal was hesitant of Kim and Usman's relationship as he was not sure Usman was in it for the right reasons, and he did not want to see his mother get hurt. Jamal and Usman are also much closer in age than Kim and Usman, which is understandably awkward for Jamal. Jamal and Usman are close enough in age to be brothers, but Usman sees Jamal as Kim's son and as a result wants Jamal to respect him. It was kind of Usman to get a gift for Jamal, but many fans are unsure of how genuine the gesture truly was.
While Kim and Usman may not be fan-favorites in 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Jamal certainly is. Fans find Jamal to be quite mature and level-headed, more so than his mother Kim. Jamal often tells Kim how he sees it, while also making it clear that he cares for Kim and has her best interests at heart. Even though fans may be annoyed at Kim and Usman getting screen time, they are always happy when Jamal makes an appearance. While fans are unsure of how Usman may have attained the PS5, they were nonetheless happy to see how excited Jamal was to receive it.
