Jibri Bell from 90 Day Fiancé claims to be a millionaire, but fans aren't buying it. Jibri and his now-wife Miona Bell were introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Finances have always been a part of their story. When viewers met Jibri, his financial struggles caused him to live with his parents in South Dakota. However, since their time on the show, Miona launched her own line of wigs and hair extensions, and her business appears to be lucrative.

90 Day Fiancé's Jibri Bell recently wrote about his wife's success on his Instagram stories, "From living with my parents to millionaire in less than a year...she is incredible," Jibri commented (via Redditor u/90daylover).

The Reddit user wrote, "Jibri is a JOKE! Now he’s claiming to be a millionaire...he's fake all around." Another commenter, Ten_Lee, responded, "a millionaire in what currency? Monopoly money doesn't count." Some speculated if he meant Serbian currency, as that's where Miona is from. ChazMurph wrote, "the new 90 day currency: manifest millions," to which another user replied, "'manifesting' seems to be a common career with the 90 Day cast." Multiple Redditors pointed out that actual millionaires don't post about their millions. "The IRS is going to love this," NikNakMuay wrote, adding, "never ever boast about your finances on social media. You'll get audited 'randomly' very quickly."

90 Day Fiancé Stars Jibri & Miona Repeat Bad Financial Habits

90 Day Fiancé's Miona and Jibri

This isn't the first time Jibri and Miona were suspected of lying about their wealth. Miona insisted the success she's had with her company allowed them to buy a house so fast, which garnered skepticism. And the apparent dishonesty isn't the only bad financial pattern the couple continues to fall into. Some commenters in the Reddit thread mentioned that, even if the millionaire claims were true, Jibri would've gone from living off of his parent's money to his wife's. The Redditors snarked that this wasn't exactly brag-worthy. However, many of the site's users doubted a ponytail and wig line would be successful enough to support a household in the first place, let alone earn millions. They wondered who would buy Miona Beauty's products, alleging that her ponytails are poorly made and overpriced.

Soon after they were introduced to viewers, the couple earned scorn due to Jibri's infamous split pants sale. The 28-year-old announced he was selling a pair of pants he ripped on the show. He then claimed they sold for about $28,000. These claims were doubted for numerous reasons. While many show alums have been able to earn a solid living, Jibri wasn't famous or beloved enough by that point. When his alleged pants sale was announced, he'd only appeared on a few episodes. And, judging by the response to him bragging about his wealth, he and Miona are still far from fan favorites.

The alleged lies about their wealth aren't the only reason 90 Day Fiancé stars Miona and Jibri get criticism. Miona has repeatedly been accused of blackfishing, and when it was discovered she was actually white, there was a lot of surprise. Jibri's parents also joined the ranks of infamous in-laws. For now, the couple and their alleged lies are more annoying than anything else. It remains to be seen if it descends into more serious fraud.
