Danielle Jbali is no stranger to controversy, as she rose to fame on 90 Day Fiancé season 2 and 90 Day: The Single Life. Viewers witnessed Danielle and her fiancé Mohammed navigate their tumultuous and strained relationship throughout the show. Although their marriage was short-lived, fans continue to follow Danielle on her journey through the 90 Day franchise and outside of the show through her Instagram account. Despite all of her accomplishments that she's shared on the platform, she has recently been gaining a lot of criticism from fans.

Recently Danielle proudly posted a video montage of photos on Instagram documenting her graduation from nursing school. Earlier this year, Danielle earned her nursing degree and officially became a Licensed Practical Nurse. The caption said, "Never give up on your dreams. Next stop first nursing job." Many fans congratulated her, but some couldn't help but notice that the last name on her nursing degree was her married name. One user wrote, "She kept the last name?" Another asked, "Will you go back to your maiden name?" Danielle responded to the questions stating, "No, it is a hassle to change all the documentation and everything back to my maiden name. I am not the first nor the last woman to keep my married name."

Since her time on the show, Danielle has had other positive changes in her life including reconnecting with her friends. Danielle has shared various photos on Instagram of herself and her friends Michelle, Alexis, and Lauren having fun and spending time together. In a couple of the photos, Danielle is seen enjoying a night out with the girls and vacationing together. Another snap she posted was on her birthday, which shows her smiling next to her friend and business manager, Tonia Ryan, and thanking her for the fun birthday celebration. The photos received comments similar to this, with one user stating, "There has been talk that they are only your friends because of being on tv and I pray and hope that's not the case Danielle." Fans are concerned that the friendships aren't genuine and are only using Danielle for clout. Many did not shy away from voicing how they felt with one user commenting, "I hate to tell you Danielle but your friends are using you for your fame!" Danielle promptly replied, "No they are not, we have been friends way before the single life was filmed and we are still friends and I see them every time I go to Maryland."

Danielle updates fans not only on herself and her friends but her family too. She has shared various photos and videos of her grandchildren, children, and even her grand-puppy. Fans appreciate a look at her life behind the scenes and beyond the TV cameras, but not all of her posts are going over so well. Her youngest daughter Briana has been making TikTok videos, lip-syncing to music and dancing, which Danielle, who was humiliated by Mohamed, has shared on her Instagram account. Numerous fans commented on the videos with negative reactions, one user exclaiming, "I'm unfollowing, had enough of this crap!" Some fans were frustrated and confused, thinking that Briana was posting the TikTok's to her mom's account, with one user saying, "Who's Instagram is this? Danielle or her kids?" Danielle addressed the criticism directly stating, "You know, you don't have to watch, simply keep scrolling. I post my kids, grandkids and friends on my Instagram. You choose what to post on yours."

Danielle isn't afraid to face controversy and criticism, letting people know where she stands. Although Danielle's life has been on display for viewers, both on-screen and behind it, she isn't afraid to live her most authentic life and share her vulnerability, successes, and triumphs. For better or worse, the 90 Day Fiancé star will continue to live life on her terms no matter what anyone else has to say.
