Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina are not done with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, but audiences are not happy to see the dramatic couple return for more franchise content. Brandon and Julia announced this week that they will be appearing on Pillow Talk, while Julia also appears alongside franchise villain Angela Deem on 90 Day: Bares All. Though Brandon and Julia appear excited to extend their reality TV fame, their reception has not been warm.

After wrapping up 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, many viewers are tired of Brandon and Julia. The American and Russian couple continued their 90 Day Fiancé season 8 plot line that saw Julia clashing with Brandon’s overprotective and intrusive parents while the couple tried to achieve independence. Many viewers soured to Julia due to her intense jealousy issues and bratty and demanding attitude. However, that hasn’t stopped the couple from being cast in another franchise spin-off show as they will now be offering their opinions on other couples on Pillow Talk.

Viewers reacted to the news of Brandon and Julia continuing in the franchise in the r/90dayfianceuncensored Reddit. Many were not looking forward to seeing the couple on another show. Though Brandon and Julia often focus on comedy on their social media through jokes and short skits, not all viewers connect with their type of comedy. "Judging from their brand of humor on display from this sub posting their Instagram posts... Hard pass," one top commenter wrote. Others said the couple would be a "hard pass" because they are boring to watch. "Talk about cringe. They're going to try so hard to be funny and fall short by miles," another viewer complained.

Other fans weighed in on their dislike for Brandon and Julia. Some viewers feel that Julia comes across as bratty and vapid and doesn't offer compelling content. Meanwhile, Brandon has been consistently called out by viewers for the past two seasons of content he appeared on for his close relationship with his parents. Viewers find that the mama's boy has never gained full independence despite being in his late 20s. One commenter suggested a way to find likable couples to cast. "TLC should do the beer test with any future pillow talk cast. If you wouldn't have a beer with a cast member, they shouldn't be on pillow talk," the user wrote.

Brandon and Julia aren't the only Pillow Talk casting choice that has upset viewers. Though the show features some beloved couples like Alexei Brovarnik and Loren Goldstone, it also hailed the return of franchise villain Stephanie Matto. Meanwhile, viewers were unhappy to discover that Happily Ever After season 6 cast member Libby Castravet and her sister Jenn were also cast. Viewers had previously blasted the Potthast family plot line for being repetitive and dramatic, and many strongly dislike Libby's siblings. Overall, 90 Day Fiancé viewers were disappointed with many of the Pillow Talk casting choices, including Brandon and Julia.
