Gabriel Paboga from 90 Day Fiancé has let viewers down by getting a tattoo for his girlfriend Isabel Posada from Colombia. The Florida resident is the TLC franchise’s first transgender man and runs an innovative business called GMPwear, with a built-in bulge for transgender men. Gabriel met Isabel though a mutual friend while on a business trip to her country to look for manufacturers. Isabel is mother of two children, and connected with Gabriel quickly, but she didn’t know he was a transgender man until he confessed it to her the next morning. Still, Isabel had fallen for Gabriel and didn’t mind at all.
During the first episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4, 90 Day Fiancé's Gabriel Paboga headed to a tattoo parlor to get a special design made for Isabel. He met up with his friend Malcolm a week before moving to Colombia. “I am actually going to get her name tattooed on me,” Gabriel admitted. Malcolm asked Gabriel if he was sure he wanted to go ahead with the tattoo. However, Gabriel explained how he wanted to show that a permanent tattoo to him means that he’s “here” to stay. Malcolm asked if Gabriel was trying to profess his love, and Gabriel just laughed. Gabriel’s sister Monica, who is also Malcolm’s girlfriend, asked her brother, “Are you gonna get rid of the other girlfriend’s name or?”

On Reddit, user u/Angel_Donahue shared a screenshot of Malcolm tattooing Isabel’s name on Gabriel’s arm and captioned it with, “I’m getting her name tattooed on me… What could possibly go wrong??” The top comment from Impossible_Pickle_85 said, “And 2 seconds after that his sister is like what about your ex's name or som**** so he's already made THAT mistake once before.” KikiHou commented that they have a cousin who gets every new girlfriend's name tattooed on their arm and that it is starting to look like a list, so he has to just “cross off the prior one.” One fan who is a tattoo artist added, “I tattoo. It is a curse. I refuse to do the names of girlfriends/wives.” Simonthebullettfreak laughed at Gabriel’s foolish plan that included blacking out his ex-girlfriend’s name after getting Isabel’s name on his body. “As someone who is heavily tattooed PLEASE NEVER TATTOO SOMEONE’S NAME ON YOUR BODY. As per Gabriel’s sister, moving to Colombia to be with a woman is a “stupid decision,” but it’s also who Gabriel is as a person. Gabriel has a tendency to rush into things because he is impulsive. He got the name of his other girlfriend tattooed on him when he was 18 or 19 years old. Because the tattoo is on Gabriel's back, it’s more of an out-of-sight, out-of-mind thing to him. Gabriel is known to fall in love within a week, and get the person's name tattooed on his body. He’s been with two or three women before Isabel, and has managed to move them into his mom’s house. This time around, Gabriel is the one moving to Colombia, when he had claimed he needed some alone time to move on after his last girlfriend.
90 Day Fiancé Star Gabriel Has A Solid Reason To Trust Isabel
One issue is that Isabel also has kids who are 16 and 11 years old. Gabriel feels he doesn’t have to babysit them, but they will still be staying together. He has already started paying the bills for Isabel and her kids. Gabriel feels like he has a “real family” with them. However, he also wears rose-colored glasses, and thinks everything is perfect about the person he’s dating, until they turn into yet another “crazy girlfriend.” Still, Gabriel has faith in his 90 Day Fiancé relationship with Isabel because he’s dated her for a year, which makes things worth it. Gabriel feels in his heart, soul, and brain that Isabel is “different,” which seems to justify his reason for getting a tattoo for her.
