Mother of two Isabel and Gabe are going to get married, but the only thing that’s stopping them from doing so now is Isabel’s parents not knowing that Gabe is a trans person.

While 90 Day Fiancé star Gabe Paboga meets Isabel’s parents, and deals with drama and chaos in his storyline, he is taking the time to educate fans on his transition journey. In a recent episode, Gabe visited a doctor to discuss his breast removal surgery. Gabe was nervous because of a negative experience he had in Florida, where the doctor didn’t believe he had bottom surgery because he was a male on his ID card. During his consultation with doctor Roberto Cardona, Gabe revealed in-depth information about his bottom surgery.
90 Day Fiancé Star Gabe’s Had Three Painful Surgeries
Gabe underwent Phalloplasty five years ago, which is surgery performed to construct, repair or enlarge the penis. It was the Anterolateral Thigh Phalloplasty, or ALT. During this type of procedure, thigh tissue is used to create a sensate penis. 90 Day Fiancé star Gabe had a complication because his right thigh didn’t have enough nerves. Nerves must be connected to clitoral nerves to create a new phallus. A week later, Gabe underwent the surgery again, and skin from his left thigh was used. He was in the hospital for three weeks, but there was another complication when Gabe’s urethra closed. He had to have another surgery three months later.
90 Day Fiancé Star Gabe Discusses Intimacy With Isabel
During the consultation, the doctor asked Gabe if he has a prosthetic that allowed him to become erect. “I think my penis is a good size and I can have sex also, I honestly don’t want any implant at all,” Gabe admitted. Isabel thought that Gabe had gotten the surgery already, “because everything works perfectly fine.” 90 Day Fiancé cast member Gabe told Isabel that because thigh tissue was used, his phallus is thicker and, “rigid enough for penetration.” An implant would allow it to become more erect, and make it bigger. However, Isabel joked, “The size is good, I don't want it to be bigger. I want to live!"

When Gabe was in kindergarten, his cousin had a friend who used to dress like a boy. At that point, Gabe realized that girls could dress like boys too. He began wearing basketball shorts, eventually wearing them every day. At 16 years old, Gabe came out as a lesbian, because he felt like a boy and wanted to date girls. Later on, a video created by a man who was transitioning, which 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's Gabe watched when he was 21, changed his life. Gabe saw all the man’s videos, and then decided that he wanted to undergo transition surgery. He did achieve that goal.
