90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 is winding down a long season full of marital drama, and all the featured cast members who are on Instagram picked up more followers. However, some featured 90 Day Fiancé personalities gained more followers than others, while Michael Ilesanmi was noticeably absent from Instagram following a plot line that saw his wife, Angela Deem, banishing him from the social media platform. The Happily Ever After season 7 cast, who picked up the most followers, was far from the most popular.

Happily Ever After might have once been a popular 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show, but the most recent season has received largely negative feedback from viewers. Fans complained about the cast before the season even aired, as some pairs weren’t married, and others aired nothing but unhealthy and repetitive drama. Many viewers questioned TLC for continuing to feature franchise villains, such as Angela and Big Ed Brown, despite the enormous backlash from viewers. However, many fans still follow the featured couples online, while many of the newest cast members gained the most followers regardless of their popularity.

Despite having a sizable number of followers at the start of the season, 90 Day Fiancé franchise regular Andrei Castravet only gained 6,000 Instagram followers from the begging to the end of Happily Ever After. Andrei, who has the best 90DF one-liners, went from 344K to 360K followers, though he remained the sixth most followed cast member of the season in the middle of the pack. Many viewers are appalled with how immature Big Ed continues to be, as he has demonstrated zero growth in the franchise.

11. Sumit Singh (+19K)

Sumit Singh gained 19K Instagram followers, as his followers jumped from 294K to 313K. Some viewers were frustrated that the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star couldn’t stop his fixation on pleasing his parents, who refused to accept his marriage. However, Sumit, who fans say is holding Jenny back, was far from the most offensive personality to appear in the messy yet, boring season. At the same time, he doesn’t appear to have caught the attention of too many fans, though some are curious to know if he's living in the US.

10. Usman Umar (+20K)

Usman Umar, also known by his stage name Sojaboy, gained 20K followers. The Nigerian singer now has 280K Instagram followers as opposed to his previous 260K, as he works on becoming an internationally recognized superstar.
