Evelin Villegas from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way revealed that she had to go to therapy due to the hateful comments she gets online about her and Corey Rathgeber’s relationship. As Corey’s fling with Jenny from Peru has taken center stage in their TOW season 3 storyline, Evelin is ready to take a divorce from the Washington resident since she feels cheated. Episode 7 saw Corey meeting Jenny and coming clean about how he sees his future with Evelin. However, Evelin is being slammed by 90 Day Fiancé viewers for having an issue about Corey having a relationship with Jenny when they were on a break when she has cheated on him in the past.
While Evelin did admit that she had asked Corey that it was okay to see other people when they were having a break, she had an issue with her husband lying. Evelin called Corey a horrible person and declared he wasn’t the person she’d met years ago. The Engabao resident also asked Corey to take all his stuff and leave as she couldn’t take Corey creating more lies to hide his lies anymore. But fans were reminded of Evelin and Corey’s past. After all, Evelin had cheated on Corey first.
As a result, Evelin is often taunted online as 90 Day Fiancé viewers think she’s a bully towards Corey and a hypocrite who’s after his money. But in a new post on her private Instagram account, Evelin revealed that she knows about the moniker “Evil-in” that she’s been given and that the “last two years have been hell” for her, so much so that she’s “seeing a therapist.” Evelin confessed that situations in life have made her guarded which is why fans saying “she is so cold, she has no heart , evil , mean , ice queen and more” doesn’t make sense. “It's always so easy to judge and to make assumptions about people , maybe I just love different but doesn't mean I don't love or have no feelings,” added Evelin in her long Instagram caption, screenshots of which have been reposted by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates.
According to Evelin, her “haters” laughed hysterically when they saw her break on Sunday night’s episode and wished that the situation could have been dealt with “in private.” Evelin added that she was blindsided and betrayed by Corey a.k.a. “the person I thought will have my back” who never gave her that option, because of which she ended up “entertaining” people with one of the hardest moments of her life. “Even if they swear in your face, that men never keep their world and they all just suck,” Evelin declared. Ecuadorian beauty Evelin, who married Corey in 2019, considers herself “just a girl on your TV” and is tired of the rumors, lies, the judgment, and the rocks thrown at her every day. “You love talking about karma well I wish nothing but the same that you wish for me,” she added in conclusion for her critics.
Despite Evelin’s heartfelt confession, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers feel that it’s Evelin who’s reaping what she sows as she’s never shown a good side in any episode. They find it hard to feel bad for Evelin due to her actions with Corey in the past and think that she’s not learned from her mistakes. Corey choosing to stay with Jenny was also a consequence of Evelin’s actions as he would have never done it had his wife not kicked him out of the house and pushed him to do it. Moreover, Jenny seems like a much better fit for Corey according to fans, who’d prefer if Evelin too could find someone who truly makes her happy.
