Erika Owens from 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days replied to comments made about her in an interview with her ex Stephanie Matto. Fans likely know Stephanie from her lucrative business selling her jarred farts on the Internet, but before her latest business venture, she was a popular YouTuber. Stephanie's YouTube career is how Australian photographer Erika discovered the New Yorker, and the two began an online romance. They appeared together on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 4.

Despite having not traveled much due to her aplastic anemia, Stephanie flew to Port Augusta, a small town in Southern Australia, to meet Erika in person. The two had issues from the start. Stephanie was not showing Erika much affection, Erika thought that the YouTuber had a very different personality than she did in her videos, and they each had a different idea of what to do for fun. Stephanie was also suspicious of Erika's relationship with her friends, and she thought Erika's networking app was a dating app. Stephanie was going to come out to her mom and then decided against it, which made Erika concerned she was being used. The couple called it quits, and many viewers accused Stephanie of faking being into women.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Erika addressed an interview that Stephanie did with the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O in which she was mentioned in a bad light. The photographer said that she has "kept her mouth shut for years" despite being pulled into situations with Stephanie. She mentioned a song called "Erika Come to America" that Stephanie performed on 90 Day: Bares All and added that she herself chooses not to talk bad about Stephanie, even though she has "so much" she could say. Erika also called their 2019 relationship "toxic" and "short-lived," as well as mentioning that it was "obviously not authentic" and suggested that Stephanie "sell [her] jarred farts and forget about [Erika]."

Erika also addressed comments that the interviewers made about her friends, posting a clip from the interview where Stephanie laughed as the interviewer called Erika and her "feral" friends "the dregs of society." He said they lived in "sheds in the outback," to which Erika replied that not everyone makes "millions of dollars a year" for being a radio show host or "selling farts in jars." Erika said she felt sick while hearing Stephanie laugh as the radio show host spoke about her that way. She said that although Stephanie wasn't the one who made those comments, she still "facilitated the conversation." Stephanie replied on her Instagram Story, denying she had any part in the comments. She also mentioned that she was getting a lot of backlash from Erika's fans and told her own fans not to do the same to Erika.

Although Stephanie recently appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life season 2, Erika has not been a part of the franchise since their debut. She seemed exasperated at being mentioned on spin-off shows and involved in anything related to Stephanie, despite being broken up for years. The two rarely interact on social media (if at all), so a feud between Erika and Stephanie is rare. Therefore, no matter which cast member they are a fan of, hopefully this will be the last argument between Stephanie and Erika that 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days fans hear about for a while.
