The Kansas native debuted on season 9 with her beau Kobe Blaise. The couple met each other in China and got pregnant following their whirlwind romance. Soon, Emily returned to the United States and applied for Kobe's K-1 visa so he could come to the country and get married to her. Although the couple seemed to be in love, they struggled with several issues after they finally reunited in America.
While Kobe mentioned Emily has become more cold-hearted, she disagreed with his opinions about gender roles. Despite a few messy fights and cultural differences, the couple decided to get married after admitting their love for each other. Viewers appreciated that the 29-year-old reality star apologized to Kobe for having unreasonable trust issues a day before their wedding. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans soon turned on Emily for chugging alcohol during her wedding while being ten weeks pregnant.
The new 90 Day Fiancé star has now shared a video on her Instagram Story to clear up the confusion. Emily said she seemed buzzed during her wedding because she was sick due to her second pregnancy. Since she was fake-drinking during the ceremony, some of her relatives even told her that she looked so hungover the next day. In reality, she just drank non-alcoholic beverages while trying to cope with her pregnancy-related sickness. In Emily's words (via Redditor MarsipanStan), "I was so so so sick with morning sickness."
While the mommy of two maintained that she drank no alcohol during her wedding, most 90 Day Fiancé viewers find her claims hard to believe.
