Ella Johnson’s Instagram account is getting a lot of attention from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers after the Tell-All finale—does it have anything to do with Johnny Chao? 29-year-old Ella from Idaho is going through a rough patch with her Chinese boyfriend Johnny after her 90 Day Fiancé franchise debut. Ella, who met Johnny online spent two years without meeting him due to failed plans. Johnny struggled to convince himself to fly anywhere out of China because of COVID-19 and Ella continued to think it was because of him not being interested in meeting her. The TLC star cheated on Johnny, but the couple seemed to be together with Johnny announcing he’ll come to the U.S. in February this year.
During the Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell-All, Ella was shunned by her cast members for what she’d done to Johnny. However, when asked about their relationship status, Ella said, “we are very very strong,” and claimed nothing had happened after that “one incident.” The season 5 cast called Ella out for staying in a long-distance situation when physical touch was so important to her. Johnny meanwhile admitted to feeling hurt because of what Ella did. Moreover, host Shaun Robinson questioned Ella about her birthday party, when she’d invited a man she’d met on a dating site. Ella spent the night with the mystery man but tried to convince Johnny that nothing happened between them. Johnny spoke of Ella not telling him about the man sleeping at her house. However, he wasn’t ready to give up on Ella although it was hard for him to trust her.
“I book the ticket just after the February,” Johnny told Shaun and confirmed he’d be coming to America a month after the Tell-All filmed in January. But Ella’s Instagram shows no signs of her having met Johnny in person yet. It’s clear that Ella and Johnny are still together, from the comments and likes he’s left on most of her posts. A February 16 post by Ella has Johnny’s mirror selfie with her caption, “Another man crush Monday I just couldn't resist he looks so handsome and I love it” which further proves their relationship status. In the meantime, Ella’s newest post revealed what’s next for her and Johnny in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The ranch owner Ella also shared her thoughts about how disappointed she was with her cast members at the Tell-All.
Ella wrote about how she respected everyone and didn’t lash out even when they said hurtful things to her or passed judgments about her relationship. A more shocking statement made by Ella was that she and Johnny were in an open relationship when she was intimate with the first man, so what she did doesn’t count as cheating. “If you want to follow us our journey will continue on 90 Day Diaries. Feel free to tune in,” announced Ella. Surprisingly, Ella’s Instagram followers aren’t as hard on her as her co-stars. “You’re an amazing lady. It’s nobody’s business but yours about what happened. I wish you both well” and “Love how you conducted yourself on the tell-all. You handle yourself with class,” said some of the comments on Ella’s post.
Ella and Johnny’s relationship drama wasn’t as controversial as some of the other couples on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. Fans have watched Johnny being unbothered by Ella cheating and even asking her for her ring size so he could gift her a ring upon his arrival. What made Johnny and Ella’s storyline interesting is the mystery of whether the Jinan resident finally flew to Idaho Falls.
