90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Elizabeth Potthast's family has finally reached Moldova. Although the father-son duo has come to attend the couple's second wedding, it seems like they have one more agenda in mind. They want to uncover information about the past of Libby's husband, Andrei Castravet, but this may not be worth doing.

In the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, viewers watch the American family land in Moldova. After arriving, they didn't spare a single minute before pointing out issues with Andrei's country. The Americans don't have an excellent first impression of the new nation, because their luggage is missing. Eventually, they get into the car to go to their in-laws' house, where they will have a meal as a group. During the ride, they display shock about the crime and violence in 90 Day Fiancé locale, Moldava, as if they had never witnessed such things in the States. As expected, the tension between Chuck, Charlie, and Andrei rose quickly. This tension surfaces when Libby's husband is interrogated about his past life in Moldova and Ireland.

During a confessional, Libby's brother says that he wants to "learn more about him (Andrei), his family, his past, his culture, how he grew up." Charlie was also curious to observe "how he acts in his own environment". He added, "He met my sister online, and everything moved really fast. There's still a lot of question marks about who he is. This is going to be nice to see how he acts in his own environment." Well, viewers can understand that the father and brother are being protective of Elizabeth and who she is going to spend the rest of her life with. But, discussing (or outright investigating, according to FR24 News) about Andrei's past life now doesn't make sense to most viewers. In a confessional, Chuck said he can't understand why Andrei would "leave a nice career and move to a foreign country. There's a lot of red flags there." But, the 90 Day Fiancé couple is already married in America and share a one-year-old daughter, Eleanor.

Andrei and Elizabeth 90 Day FIance-2

So, no matter what information Charlie and Chuck find out, it's not going to change the fact that they are already husband and wife. Or, however, questionable Andrei's past is, the fact remains the same that he Chuck's 90 Day Fiancé son-in-law and a part of Potthast's family.

Still, if they were really concerned about who Libby's is getting married to, they should have made this trip to Moldava a long time ago. Before giving his daughter's hand to Andrei, Chuck should have asked these strings of questions and made sure that the dad of one has good intentions as well as a clean background.
