Elizabeth Potthast’s father Chuck has been a 90 Day Fiancé cast member ever since his daughter decided to marry Andrei Castravet on the TLC show. The Potthast family may not have been a fan-favorite but the rivalry between Andrei and Chuck has given the reality show, many memorable moments. If TLC viewers thought that Andrei and Libby’s father Chuck may have buried the hatchet by 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, their rocky relationship took a new turn with the Moldovan man’s $100k request. And Chuck shockingly agreeing to giving Andrei the money, although conditionally, made fans want to know more about the CMP Capital Investments, LLC owner.
It was clear from the start that 90 Day Fiancé star Andrei wouldn’t have a loving father in law in Chuck with the Florida man being highly unimpressed with Libby’s husband. His controlling attitude combined with a short temper, financial problems, and zero motivation to find a job, had immediately put Andrei in Chuck’s bad books. Their relationship further cracked under the pressure of Andrei asking Chuck to bear the cost of his and Elizabeth’s Moldovian wedding, and her brother Charlie getting overtly suspicious of the former detective’s motives.
However, in the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season, Andrei getting a real estate license and his “money motivates me” quote probably made Chuck consider getting him involved in the family-run home-rental business. Chuck bankrolling his daughter and her husband has often made fans wonder what his source of income is. Chuck has his own lucrative real estate business called CMP Capital Investments, LLC. in Tampa, Florida. Libby’s father also has the above-mentioned rental properties in the area, and his job as a real estate agent in a business involving multi-million dollar commissions probably makes Chuck earn upwards of $240,000 per year.
According to Stars Offline, 90 Day Fiancé star Chuck’s age is somewhere between “58 to 63 years” and along with ex-wife Pamela Putnam, has seven children. Elizabeth’s brother Charles “Charlie” Potthast, his wife Megan Potthast, and sisters Rebeckah “Becky” Potthast Lichtwerch and Jennifer “Jenn” Potthast Davis are a mainstay in her and Andrei’s storyline.
