90 Day Fiancé has launched many unknown faces into instant stardom, but Elizabeth “Libby” Potthast was already somewhat known in Hollywood before marrying Andrei. While there are always a few cast members who come with reality TV show backgrounds, like Darcey Silva and Angela Deem, Elizabeth's IMDb page is as impressive as her storyline. As her family drama escalates with brother Charlie being more aggressive than ever, it's interesting to look back at Elizabeth's starry past.

Tampa, FL resident Elizabeth, 29, first met Andrei Castravet from Chisinau, Moldova on a dating app in 2016. Andrei, 33, was at that time working as a bouncer at clubs in Ireland. The youngest of ten children, Elizabeth was planning a trip to Dublin and had kind of wanted to “see what was out there” when she came across Andrei’s profile. Elizabeth and Andrei were in a long-distance relationship before their 90 Day Fiancé stint when he came over to America on a K-1 visa. Elizabeth’s large family didn’t quite warm up to Andrei, but the TLC stars went ahead and married each other in 2017. The pair delivered their first baby, Eleanor Louise Castravet, in January. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? saw Elizabeth and Andrei get married once again in Moldova as per his Christian Orthodox religion. The showdown that took place between Charlie Potthast and Andrei at the reception became one of the most epic moments in 90 Day Fiancé history. But while this fight led to discussions about Chuck and Charlie’s net worths and jobs, fans became curious about Elizabeth’s career, too.

Unlike her family’s past, which seems to be filled with mug shots, Elizabeth has an acting reel. Libby confirmed she’s been acting since she was 17. Per IMDb, her first acting role was in the TV show Homeland in 2011 where she’s credited as a cashier. Starcasm reported her scene is small but important, as Elizabeth has “multiple lines” with Damian Lewis’s character Nicholas Brody. Next, the 90 Day Fiancé star acted in a movie named Secrets in the Snow. She played Lynn Bolton, one of six students who get caught in the school gym due to a storm right before Christmas. Clips of Libby showing her acting chops are available on the Internet for 90 Day Fiancé fans to see.

Andrei’s wife’s on-screen appearances also include playing Clarice Smith in The Bad One and Bella’s friend in The Twilight Spoof. Elizabeth has a few commercials to her name as well, including ones for Verizon Wireless Indy Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and Genie Bar. The 90 Day Fiancé celeb’s latest brush with the big screen was in the 2019 movie Be Still and Know, a suspenseful drama where she plays Sophia. The report also states Libby is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and loves sports and other hobbies. Moreover, Elizabeth’s mother Pamela Putnam Potthast is CEO of Stellar Talent and Image, a talent agency in North Carolina that looks to have a focus on children. This explains Elizabeth’s foray into acting at a young age. Her older sister Rebekah, who’s also made an appearance on 90 Day Fiancé, has been a model and actress based out of New York City.

As explained by Elizabeth in her segment with Andrei on 90 Day Fiancé: Self- Quarantined, she’s currently working for her father’s real estate business as a property manager. Chuck seems to have cut her salary in half which is a problem for the TLC twosome, as Andrei has yet to find employment in America. What does this mean for the couple’s future considering Chuck giving them financial aid has been an issue for her family as well as fans? Perhaps the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell All episodes will have the answers.
