Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova are on different pages with their 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days relationship, but Alina's meddling best friend Elijah might be the perfect wingman to help the two connect. While many couples on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show are headed towards marriage, Alina and Caleb are still figuring out if they are just friends or something more. After meeting online over a decade ago and then reconnecting recently, the duo was very excited to meet in person and evaluate their chemistry. However, Caleb was taken aback by Alina's appearance as he realized her diastrophic dysplasia led to her being far smaller than he originally thought she would be. Caleb revealed to the cameras that he needed to rest after his international flight and reevaluate his feelings.
However, Elijah and Alina were not happy with his desire to take things slowly. Alina was openly disappointed that Caleb held off from immediate physical affection. Alina is losing her popularity among viewers for her behavior, although it might be helping her to get closer to Caleb. Rather than hound Caleb about her needs and ask him questions about his past and future intentions, Alina has employed her friends to do the dirty work for her.
Elijah grilled Caleb on Alina's behalf and asked him all of the invasive questions about his past. Additionally, Elijah's constant pestering throughout the day as he put Caleb down for not being intimate with Alina seemingly led to Caleb immediately making out with Alina as soon as they were alone in their hotel room. Though Elijah pushed Caleb away from himself, his lack of boundaries appears to have forced Caleb closer to Alina, potentially making him the perfect wingman.
Caleb has so far been told repeatedly by Elijah that he doesn't think Caleb is good enough for Alina. This is likely one of the factors that led to Caleb wanting to explore a potential romance with her. Unfortunately, the drama between Caleb and Alina's friends doesn't seem like it will cool down anytime soon. Previews show Alina's female friend grilling Caleb and declaring that she doesn't think he is the right fit for Alina. While Elijah's constant attitude might have brought Caleb and Alina closer, nonstop drama with Alina's friends could ultimately spell the end of their potential romance. Since Caleb and Alina only have two weeks to get to know each other, their time together could be cut short if he gets frustrated and wants to leave.
While Alina and Elijah were originally hailed as Before the 90 Days season 5 fan-favorites, Alina has seen her popularity take a sharp drop due to her treatment of Caleb. Few viewers are fond of the Arizona man, although some are beginning to realize that his initial label as a villain was blown out of proportion. Many viewers believe that Caleb was fully justified in wanting to take things slowly and that he had every right to not be attracted to Alina once meeting her in person. New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 will further reveal if Caleb and Alina have a romantic connection.
