Jihoon Lee from 90 Day Fiancé has disappeared on ex Deavan Clegg and baby son Taeyang, her mom Elicia Clegg has claimed on Instagram. Former 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 and 2 couple Deavan and Jihoon had a nasty split off-screen amidst abuse allegations. Deavan, who’s now with boyfriend Topher Park, is in the middle of a divorce from Jihoon, who was fighting hard for custody rights. Now, Deavan’s mother has made explosive claims of Jihoon not being interested in Taeyang at all.
As fans remember, Deavan’s mother Elicia never seemed to approve of Deavan’s Korean husband. Elicia had a problem with Jihoon not having a job and house at 30, and when Deavan moved to Korea, a nasty fight broke out between the mother-in-law and him over Drascilla. While 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 was on hiatus, Jihoon revealed he and Deavan were no longer together, and that she already was dating a new man. Around September 2020, Elicia had taken to Instagram to reveal that Jihoon and Deavan’s marriage had been over since November 2019. Back then, 90 Day Fiancé cast member Elicia had blamed the break-up on cultural differences.
As reported in December 2020, Elicia again went on record to say that 90 Day Fiancé star Jihoon could see Taeyang whenever he wanted to. Elicia added that Deavan would have had to buy two plane tickets for her two kids and that it would be better for Jihoon to visit Utah. Deavan’s mom said that Jihoon was aware of their address and he could come to the U.S. when he wants to. Earlier this week, Deavan’s mother Elicia went live on Instagram to give an update on Jihoon and Deavan’s marriage and answered some fan questions.
“I don’t know, to me, it feels like…that was the past and he just wants to let it go. I’ve seen him do a few YouTube videos, he seems very happy with what he’s doing right now and I think he just doesn’t wanna deal with America. At this point in time, I’m sure he literally hates all things America right now,” Elicia claimed. Deavan’s mom also shockingly declared, “Yeah. He’s obviously not interested, it breaks my heart.” Elicia hopes that as Jihoon gets older, he’ll reflect and try to reach out. “It’s sad it happens, women leave their children, men leave their children,” she added.
Elicia also updated her IG followers about the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s custody ruling. She spoke of Deavan getting “full physical custody” of Taeyang and how Jihoon can see his son “under certain conditions.” Elicia mentioned that Jihoon has “every right to see his son” but for that, he needs to take an “anger management” and a “parenting class.” Elicia blamed Jihoon for having “disappeared” and said that he hasn’t shown up or called. Deavan’s mom thinks that Jihoon has already moved on and that one cannot be forced “to be a parent.” In conclusion, the 90 Day Fiancé mother asked, “Do you think that we want Taeyang to not see his father? That’s ridiculous and it’s sad because his father didn’t even, he doesn’t show up!”
