The beginning of the year saw the launch of the new streaming service discovery+, which promised to deliver four new shows in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Though not all of the new shows have yet aired, fans of the franchise are already not pleased with the new content.

Among the new content on the streaming service is 90 Day Bares All90 Day Diaries90 Day Journey and The Other Way Strikes Back. One of the shows that have already started airing is 90 Days Bares All. The show is hosted by Shaun Robinson and promises to force past couples to reveal new information to the fanbase in a raw and unfiltered way. 90 Day Diaries is filmed by different couples, showing an intimate look into their home lives and struggle during the pandemic. On the other hand, 90 Day Journey cuts together every clip of select couples within the franchise to chronicle their romance from the start. Lastly, The Other Way Strikes Back promises to deliver behind-the-scenes content that wasn't previously aired. Meanwhile, there is still new content in the works, including a game show. Though this might sound like potentially juicy content to add to the franchise, man fans have been expressing underwhelmed sentiments.

Fans who have caught any of the new content have not been happy with the results, while many others aren't planning to tune in. Many posted in the r/90dayfiance sub-Reddit to share their opinions on the new shows. While some commenters simply noted "I'll pass," others had more to say. "Nope. Over saturation. I’m done with it," one user wrote. "I didn’t even bother watching the last 4 or 5 episodes of The Other Way. I just deleted them from my DVR. Based on the first episode of the new season, I don’t know if I’m even going to bother watching more than the highlights of each episode." Other people expressed that they didn't want to pay more money for additional streaming services. Discovery+ plans are currently $4.99/month or $6.99/month for ad-free streaming. Additionally, some cast members weren't pleased with the content being aired. Jovi Dufren took to his Instagram this week to call out his supposed friend for oversharing about him to his fiancé Yara Zaya on 90 Days Bares All.

Other fans simply aren't interested in seeing more content when there are already so many spin-off shows to watch on TLC. "Nah, as long as the older content is still on the TLC app and I can catch up," one user wrote. "I don't really care about the new shows." Amongst the chorus of people declining the new streaming service, another commenter wrote, "Nope. They already stretch their content to the breaking point." Prior to the launch of discovery+ and its new shows, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise was already quite full. The original series has already received nine spin-off shows since its premiere in 2014. Therefore, it's understandable that many fans don't think more content is needed, especially when so many people in the franchise are active on social media and online platforms to share their lives.

If fans of the franchise aren't interested in tuning in to the new content, they can always watch the original series. See how season 8 couples such as Yara and Jovi fare by tuning in to new episodes of 90 Day Fiancé on TLC.
