Debbie Johnson has become one of the most well-known parents in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, and the 90 Day: The Single Life star’s style has changed a lot over the course of her lifetime. Best-known for over-parenting her son Colt Johnson, Debbie made a name for herself in the franchise during 90 Day Fiancé season 6, when she struggled to get along with Colt’s Brazilian fiancé Larissa Lima. However, Larissa and Colt’s relationship didn’t last, and Debbie is still living with her son to this day.

Though she’s faced criticism for her stubbornness, Debbie remains a fan favorite and has appeared on multiple franchise spin-offs, including 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and Pillow Talk. Her most recent appearance was on The Single Life, where Debbie tried to find love after the devastating loss of her husband several years ago. Debbie went on multiple dates during The Single Life season 2 but none of them turned out to be fruitful.

Debbie may not have found love on The Single Life, but she did undergo a stunning makeover. In an effort to boost her self confidence before starting to date again, Debbie dyed her hair a deep, vibrant red and bought a fresh set of threads. That and a classy makeup look made Debbie appear much more modern and youthful. Many viewers praised her new look, but Debbie has shared many photos from her past that prove her Single Life makeover was not her first style transformation.

In the 80s, Debbie really embraced her adventurous side. She kept her hair long this decade, and 90 Day Fiancé star Debbie’s curls reflect the era’s obsession with hairspray. Whether rocking a white cowboy hat or a sleek blue blouse, Debbie looked incredible this decade. Though she looks young, the spunky Debbie that fans know and love from the franchise is still recognizable.

Debbie had a difficult time in the 90s—it was the decade when she tragically lost her husband and became a single mom. It seems Debbie’s style became more toned down and comfort-based in this decade as a result of her age and hardships. Her fashion choices were more low-key, though Debbie still looked lovely.

Debbie Johnson’s 90 Day Fiancé Debut

By the time Debbie was first seen on 90 Day Fiancé, her style had changed considerably since the 90s. Her hair was chopped short and her fashion priority was comfort. Even at her son Colt’s wedding, Debbie showed up in black jeans and a pink button up shirt to walk him down the aisle. Her ultra-casual wedding look was criticized by viewers, but at least her shirt was ironed.

Though many franchise stars undergo glow ups after their first 90 Day Fiancé appearance, Debbie almost went the opposite direction. Her wardrobe mostly consisted of t-shirts and shorts or slacks, and her hair didn’t have much shape to it. Debbie’s style sense was slammed by many fans, which may have influenced her decision to get a makeover.
