Deavan Clegg from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and Chris “Topher” Park have more than a shared love of the scary movie The Purge in common, as they also wear matching wedding rings.
Deavan and Topher’s relationship has been controversial since 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan's split from Jihoon Lee. When reports of their breakup were confirmed, the cracks which were always present in Deavan and Jihoon’s relationship escalated into a full-fledged feud. Deavan, who had flown back to America amidst the coronavirus pandemic, tried her best to keep her separation under wraps. However, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans soon realized that it was TLC who’d brought her back. Deavan’s child abuse allegations against Jihoon Lee became a serious concern for their followers, as well as the issue of her moving on “so quickly” to “baby daddy no. 3” Topher. While Jihoon continues to claim that Deavan is keeping their son Taeyang away from him and that Topher is now acting like Taeyang's dad, the 90 Day Fiancé star seems to be content with her updated family. This is why many TLC viewers claim that Deavan and Topher might already be engaged (or even married).
The couple's The Purge-inspired costumes were revealed to Clegg's followers on Halloween. While noticing how great Deavan and Topher looked together, 90 Day Fiancé fans spotted the wedding rings on their fingers. For Halloween 2020, the 90 Day Fiancé star mom debuted a couple's photo of her and Beverly Hills-based accountant Topher Park on her Deavan Clegg Instagram. The pair, who seem to be admirers of the dystopian action horror franchise The Purge, chose matching costumes complete with creepy masks. Deavan was armed with a bloody machete and wrote the "Purge Emergency Broadcast System" announcement as her caption. This brought appreciative comments from most of her followers. “You both look awesome. Love the masks!” wrote a 90 Day Fiancé viewer. Another fan gushed about how the pic: “was the best one” they’d seen so far. “Happy Halloween you guys look amazing,” continued Deavan’s follower. See Deavan and Topher below:
Comments from observant fans who spotted matching “wedding rings” sparked the most engagement. “You guys got married? How exciting” asked one curious fan, and another follower (whom Deavan replied to) wrote: “I noticed a few days ago you both have wedding rings on aren’t you still legally married to Jihoon?” Deavan explained, “we aren’t married.” After her comment, a few fans wrote that she can’t wed because of Jihoon Lee still being in the picture, “but the rings can mean engaged.”
Deavan has previously stated that her ring was something she’d purchased off of Amazon, but fans do not seem to believe the reality TV star. The current episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way are a year behind in terms of the timeline, and a lot of drama has unfolded between Deavan and Jihoon since. While those following the former couple are vaguely aware of the abuse allegations, and the divorce claims made by Deavan, what really triggered their bad breakup is unknown. However, as Jihoon continues to post older pictures of Taeyang, which show that he misses him dearly, Deavan (engaged or married or neither) has clearly moved on from her 90 Day Fiancé love-story.
