Former 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan Clegg recently posted an update about her son Taeyang's cancer battle and her third pregnancy. Fans may know the former cast member from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, where she appeared alongside her now ex-husband, Jihoon Lee. The couple welcomed their child, Taeyang, during the show and later got married to solidify their relationship. However, the lack of love in their relationship pushed them to seek a divorce, and Deavan got full physical custody of their son. While the Utah native found new love with her boyfriend, Topher Park, things didn't remain happy for long as Taeyang was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
Just a few days after announcing she was pregnant, Deavan dropped the heartbreaking news about her son's situation. At the time, the mother of two requested her fans to pray for her child's health and even set up a GoFundMe account to raise funds for his treatment. In July 2022, the 90 Day Fiancé alum shared a huge update about Taeyang's ongoing battle and how he has been undergoing chemotherapy for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She said her 3-year-old son is a strong boy who hasn't felt sick and is doing amazing.
While 90 Day Fiancé viewers were happy to hear Deavan's last update, her latest one concerns them. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a cute video of her son exploring an aquarium and wrote, "Taeyang is doing well and fighting cancer the best he can." She then apologized to her fans for not being active on social media and revealed that the circumstances have made it hard for her to "get online and update everyone." Deavan then heartbreakingly wrote that her "high risk" pregnancy and Taeyang's situation almost pushed her to give up. However, she added that she's regaining her strength and will keep everyone posted.
Deavan's ongoing struggles have made many followers feel sorry for her. An Instagram user wrote, "You are obligated to no one," and asked the young mom to take care of herself and her babies. The person also prayed for Taeyang to beat cancer and added, "Thoughts and prayers to you mama for your pregnancy and littlest baby." Another user chimed in, "TAKE time with him honey, just know we r here praying for Taeyang and we love yall." Someone else told Deavan, "Don't feel like you have to keep us updated."
It's clear that people care about the pregnant mom and don't want her to stress about being active online. In the past, fans didn't appreciate that Deavan had been careless and irresponsible and had babies with different men. However, they see she has a real connection with her current boyfriend, Topher. Hence, they want her to live a happy life with him and have a safe delivery and healthy son. 90 Day Fiancé fans hope that Deavan's troubled times will only get easier going forward and that her 3-year-old will soon recover from his illness to live a beautiful life.
