90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg shared an update about Jihoon Lee and her baby son Taeyang's life and custody status on Instagram. Mother of two Deavan from Utah was introduced in season 1 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off with Korean man Jihoon. The couple, who was then expecting baby Taeyang, also got married during the season but went their separate ways when Deavan returned to the United States in the TOW season 2 finale, leaving Jihoon behind in South Korea. According to Deavan, she now has full sole and physical custody of Taeyang.
On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Deavan and Jihoon dealt with a lot of issues from the start, with him being unable to be responsible or fulfill the family’s financial needs. Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member Deavan, who had kindergartener daughter Drascilla from a previous relationship, moved to Korea amidst Jihoon promising that he’d changed. However, spoilers revealed that Deavan had separated from Jihoon while TOW season 2 was still on the air and was back in America dating boyfriend Topher Park from Los Angeles.
Jihoon, who got plastic surgery to change his look post-reality TV, has been laying low on social media since. Alongside that, Deavan usually updates fans about her happier new life on Instagram with Topher and the two kids. Proud mama Deavan recently documented Drascilla going for her first day in school, while 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite baby Taeyang has also celebrated a big milestone of his own. Taeyang, who was born on April 11, 2019, got his first professional haircut, and his mother could not be more proud. “He looks so handsome,” Deavan gushed in the caption, before praising her toddler by writing, “He did so great.”
Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan appeared to have opted for a Korean haircut for Taeyang according to the hashtags she used. Meanwhile, Deavan’s 505,000-plus followers were all heart-eyes for Taeyang, whom they’ve seen grown up right before their eyes. “He’s getting so big,” “So handsome” and “Adorable,” said most of the comments on 90 Day Fiancé celeb Deavan’s post. However, to a fan who asked Deavan, “When was the last time he got to see his daddy?” she replied, “I was awarded full sole and physical custody.” According to Deavan’s comment, the judge said that if Jihoon took “anger management and parenting classes, he is allowed phone calls.”
But Deavan also revealed that her 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way ex-husband, Jihoon, has “never tried calling” or FaceTiming, and she hasn’t heard from him. Meanwhile, Jihoon posted a rare Instagram update recently, which was a throwback picture of Taeyang. Last heard, Jihoon asked 90 Day Fiancé fans to donate money to his fundraiser, which was shut down over differences of opinion between him and the GoFundMe creator.
