Former 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan Clegg defended Yara Zaya's new makeup line. The Ukrainian native has been under fire for launching a controversial makeup line, Boujee by Yara. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers are boycotting Yara's new business for several reasons. Fans think that the eyeshadow palettes look cheap and tacky, claiming that similar types of cosmetics are available from other makeup companies at lower prices. Some fans have also alleged that Yara is making false claims that her makeup line is vegan when one of her makeup products contains beeswax.

The blonde beauty has been trying to defend herself on social media by calling her critics jealous, which appears to be making matters worse. Now, many fans think that Yara is acting defensively because she has something to hide. The 26-year-old TV star also got called out for copying one of her blogs from a different makeup-related website. But Yara argued that her content isn't plagiarized. She claimed that she learned to do makeup by watching other videos and that it can't be called plagiarism. Overall, the 90 Day Fiancé star probably played coy or genuinely didn't know she was being called out for copy-pasting content.

It seems like Yara Zaya has finally gotten some support from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Recently, Deavan shared an Instagram story to call out Yara's critics. She wrote, "No one deserves to be bullied." Deavan said that she would happily buy Yara and Jovi's new makeup products. Meanwhile, she doesn't think it is important to know where they get the products from. Deavan, who was accused of cultural appropriation after Halloween, wrote: "A lot of work still goes into it. And I know you have worked hard on this project." She congratulated the couple and was eager to see them succeed.

With that said, it seems like Deavan changed her mind a few hours later. The supportive message she wrote for Yara and Jovi isn't available on her Instagram Story anymore. Just like other 90 Day Fiancé stars, it looks like Deavan decided not to speak about Yara's controversial makeup. Interestingly, Yara's best friend, Julia Trubkina, is also avoiding supporting her at this point.

Deavan already received backlash on social media for leaving Jihoon Lee and quickly getting into a new relationship with another Korean man, Topher Park. Perhaps that's the reason why she chose to retract her support, so she can avoid getting even more criticism from 90 Day Fiancé fans. Meanwhile, Jovi is also standing up for Yara. He has promoted his wife's new makeup line on his Instagram and urged his fans to support her. He is allegedly sending cease and desist letters to critics, who are apparently jealous and trying to harm his wife's new business. Time will tell if other 90 Day Fiancé cast members will come forward to support Jovi and Yara's new venture.
