The mother-of-two was accused of lying about her public miscarriage, and the accusation has led to Deavan releasing several statements on the matter, to mixed responses.
This is far from the first time Deavan has been caught in drama and lies, though the truth behind the most recent accusations remains unverified. When it comes to honesty, Deavan has a very unreliable track record. The 24-year-old has lied about photo editing in the past before coming clean about altering her pictures. Fans are often left perplexed about the extent to which Deavan photoshops her appearance, with many of her Instagram commenters believing the mother edits herself into a new person altogether. Deavan has also received criticism over her relationship with ex-husband Jihoon Lee, who accused her of withholding their son from him. To make matters worse, her current boyfriend, Topher Park, has referred to himself as the young boy’s father on social media. The reality star is also currently involved in a feud with season six cast member Leida Margaretha. The former friends are now apparent enemies after Deavan allegedly told people Leida’s son is special needs.
Deavan’s most recent drama started when a woman claiming to be a Korean hospital nurse leaked to a blogger that the mother actually received an abortion she played as a miscarriage to have an engaging storyline on television. Deavan has since vocally slammed the rumors as being completely fabricated and wildly offensive. Fans are torn about whether or not the reality star is being genuine in her response. Commenters took to the @90dayfiancefantics Instagram account to discuss Deavan's response to the situation. "Girl you actions speak differently quit playing the victim," one commenter wrote to Deavan. "Shame on you How many baby daddies are you going to have. Or are you lying again for attention," another person wrote. Someone even questioned if Deavan has a disorder that makes her lie and seek attention. "She needs to take a permanent leave from social media instead of putting her personal business out there," someone else wrote, adding that Deavan makes it easy to hate her. Deavan addressed the rumors with a statement on February 6. "I'm at a lost [sic] for words... I will say this one last time my miscarriage isn't a game. This is a new low," she wrote before expressing she was taking a social media break. Deavan, who is often accused of being a bad parent, went on to write that she is experiencing darkness like never before and that her miscarriage still affects her. She has previously referred to the rumors as both false and shocking. “Last night I was informed of something so horrible and sinister,” she shared on her Instagram Story one day prior. “I wasn’t going to speak on this but seeing as so many people believe this said blogger, I want to make a statement.” She went on to say that though she supports women doing what they want with their bodies, she did not have an abortion.
Deavan has referred to the alleged Korean nurse as a “troll.” The reality star also claimed the blogger who brought the rumors to light is the same person who leaked her personal messages with Jihoon. The couple is currently involved in a messy custody battle that has Jihoon amassing money on GoFundMe to take his ex-wife to court for custody of their young son, who he claims she is withholding from him. Whether or not Deavan is telling the truth remains to be seen, but commenters online have expressed mixed feelings. While some are horrified by the rumors and backlash she is experiencing, others have difficulty believing Deavan after she has been caught in so many lies in the past.
Additionally, a social media hiatus seems unlikely, as the reality star was sharing clickbait articles in her story prior to her hiatus message and frequently uploads photos of herself to her personal account.
