It's Instagram official! After reports of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee’s split started pouring in, TLC fans wondered if it was all just a rumor. But a heartbroken Jihoon went Live on his Instagram and confirmed the divorce. Now, news about Deavan’s new boyfriend is making the rounds. Here’s all the information on the Los Angeles-based man, Christopher “Topher” Hyun Park.
Since the beginning of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season two, all roads have led to splitsville between Deavan and Jihoon. Jihoon’s lies about his new, high-paying job made Deavan move from Utah to Seoul, but the messy apartment and her husband’s irresponsibility gave her nothing but regret. Deavan granted him another chance when he proved he had $3000 in savings, and the two moved in a new apartment with their son Taeyang and Deavan’s daughter Drascilla in tow. However, Deavan, who has surprisingly been in America for the last few months, was seen without her wedding ring, which gave away a major spoiler for her and Jihoon’s relationship. Turns out the 90 Day Fiancé pair have broken up and are ready to file for divorce. But an even bigger shock is that Deavan is dating someone new, and the man also happens to be Korean.
According to The Agent C Show, Deavan flew out of South Korea to separate herself from Jihoon. The 90 Day Fiancé’s new love is based out of Los Angeles, and the couple has been taking turns flying out to see each other on weekends. The video revealed that the man’s name is Christopher Hyun Park, though he goes by Topher Park. Topher “doesn’t care for” 90 Day Fiancé, but his IMDb profile says that he has worked as an actor on about 20 movies and series, some of which have names like Mango Sticky Rice, Spa Night and Boned. He also produced and acted in a 2015 short film called The Proposal and is originally from Los Angeles. The page states that he grew up playing guitar, singing, and modeling as a teenager for “iconic brands such as Samsung.” Topher Park’s LinkedIn says that he has a BA in theatre, film, and digital production from the University of California, Riverside. After graduating, he worked as a production coordinator at Labeltex Mills, Inc and an assistant tour co-ordinator at Mejia & Kaplan LLP, an accounting company.
Deavan's rumored boyfriend also is the editor-in-chief for toph&her magazine, which deals with fashion and lifestyle. In an interview with VoyageLA, Topher states, “I did a bit of theatre as a kid then got into video, journalism, and fashion in high school. Working in multiple fields allowed me to explore lots of unique experiences which helped me narrow down what I was really passionate about, which is fashion.” Apart from his passion project, Topher has also recently started working at Citrin Cooperman, another accounting firm in January 2020. Eagle-eyed fans who found Topher’s Instagram profile have noticed clues that indicate it is him that Deavan visited during her last August trip to Los Angeles. It’s being reported that the 90 Day Fiancé celeb met Topher through mutual friends, but has not yet introduced him to her children.
