Deavan Clegg might not know how to chop carrots, but she’s a girl of many talents! 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Deavan has always been the one paying the bills while Korean husband Jihoon Lee takes naps. But even after spending $50,000 on him, Deavan was still treated with contempt by fans when she asked Jihoon for money. Curious 90 Day Fiancé fans now want to know where exactly where Deavan's money came from.

Thirty-year-old Jihoon’s employment has always been a point of contention for the 90 Day Fiancé couple. Be it him stealing cell phones or working as a delivery boy, Jihoon barely made enough to support his growing family. Deavan, 24, called him out for being irresponsible repeatedly, and Jihoon claimed to have kept his measly savings with mother, Jung. It was after Deavan threatened to move back to the US with Taeyang that Jihoon finally handed over the $3,000 to Deavan, which she claimed was “proof he actually saved some.” 90 Day Fiancé fans criticized Deavan for taking Jihoon’s money when she was last seen asking fans for funds to support her breast augmentation surgery. If the TLC star did have $20,000 in savings as she claimed, what was her initial source of income before 90 Day Fiancé?

A few weeks ago, in typical Deavan fashion, the 90 Day Fiancé favorite shared her work experience details on her Instagram stories. Deavan has always maintained that she was a model and still does modeling assignments, which she posts about on her feed. Visible use of FaceTune or not, these pictures rake in thousands of likes, which also get her a few brand endorsements. 90 Day Fiancé couples do get paid, but only about $1,000 to $1,500 per episode and $2,500 for a tell-all, totaling up to $14,500 for 12 episodes. Deavan seems to have saved this, along with money from her previous job at an office for an online furniture company. TLC fans on Reddit say it was a call-center job for Overstock.com.  On 90 Day Fiancé Deavan claimed to have worked for 16 hours a day and 60 hours a week. “This is 100% true,” she wrote. “While pregnant during the holiday season my work did mandatory overtime. So we were working doubles for roughly two months,” added the mother of two. She recalled having worked an average of 12-hour shifts for four days a week, leaving her with barely three days to rest because of her pregnancy.

I had a full-time job my entire pregnancy,” added Taeyang’s mom who claimed to have used up her vacation time for filming 90 Day Fiancé. Deavan shared how she was on paid maternity leave after Taeyang’s birth, so she ended up saving the money. “I’ve always had a full-time job, I don’t like not working,” she said in what seemed to be a taunt for Jihoon. “And I’m blessed that I can work from home,” concluded Deavan.

On one of her YouTube videos, the 90 Day Fiancé star shared how she used to work with House of Horrors when she was 17-18 years old. SD reported how she was also employed as a horror makeup artist at the Lagoon Amusement Park during the seasonal Frightmares, where she painted on monster faces. Today, Deavan also uses OnlyFans to earn that extra cash, now that she needs it even more after reclaiming her single mom status. She’s yet to comment on her explosive breakup with Jihoon on 90 Day Fiancé or her new relationship with Los Angeles-based Korean actor Topher Park. Here’s hoping she adds learning Korean to the list of accomplishments on her CV soon.
