90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg recently opened up about her son Taeyang's battle with cancer. Over the summer, Deavan told fans that her son had been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The worried mother has been by his side while he undergoes treatments in the hope of making a full recovery.
Deavan first met viewers during season 1 of The Other Way when she moved to South Korea with her young daughter and newborn son to be with fiancé Jihoon Lee. The couple, who had a tumultuous relationship and a short-lived marriage, went on to star in season 2 of the series together as well. Deavan is now happily in a new relationship and fully focusing on her family. Deavan Met Jihoon On An App
Deavan and Jihoon met on a Tinder when Deavan changed her settings to meet international matches. The pair got to know each other and, eventually, Jihoon traveled to the U.S. to meet Deavan.
Their relationship moved fast and Deavan actually became pregnant with their son, Taeyang, the first night the couple met. Deavan and Jihoon got engaged and Deavan moved her family to South Korea, where the couple married. Sadly, their drama-filled marriage only lasted 11 months.

Deavan and Jihoon may be among the reality stars who married on television and have since divorced, but to Deavan's credit, she did attempt to embrace Jihoon's culture. She agreed to a traditional Korean wedding ceremony at home with his family, which involved elaborate outfits and rituals. It was not the wedding ceremony Deavan had hoped for, and even when the couple had their less traditional second ceremony, it still featured many modern-day Korean wedding elements.
Deavan also welcomed the idea of throwing their son a traditional 100 day celebration. In addition, Deavan did attempt to learn Korean, but still had to rely heavily on her translation device.
Deavan Is In A Relationship With An Actor
Deavan just celebrated her 2-year anniversary with Korean-American actor Christopher (Topher) Park. The couple lives in Los Angeles together and are currently expecting a baby. In addition to acting, Park also sings, plays the guitar, and models.
During a YouTube interview with reality television blogger John Yates, Deavan spoke about first meeting Topher in the airport on the way to visit Jihoon. She explained, "I was flying to [South] Korea the first time back in November [2018]. It was right before I was filming. It would be the first time I met Jihoon's family." The duo later met again through a mutual friend, and have been going strong ever since.
Deavan Has Meaningful Tattoos
Deavan has several stunning tattoos she regularly shows off on her social media accounts. She has a large likeness of Johnny Depp in his iconic role as Edward Scissorhands inked on her shoulder. The Tim Burton character must be a favorite of Deavan's, as Jihoon memorably dressed up as Edward Scissorhands for Halloween while the couple was still together.

Deavan has opened up to fans about her miscarriages. She lost a baby in 2019 while she was still with Jihoon and, according to the reality star, she had another miscarriage in April 2021 with her current partner, Topher.
Deavan was comforted by an unlikely person after her first heartbreaking loss on 90 Day Fiancé. Jihoon's mother, Jung, took her out for the day to help cheer her up. Deavan did not intend to speak openly about her second miscarriage, but after the news was leaked, she addressed rumors and asked for privacy while she and her family healed.
