After a few months, Jihoon flew to the United States all the way from South Korea. During one of their first meetings, Deavan got pregnant, and the couple was blessed with their first baby boy, Taeyang, in April 2019. Eventually, Utah resident Deavan decided to move to South Korea to live with Jihoon as a family. Initially, the couple struggled financially because Jihoon couldn't find a job. Jihoon claimed Deavan lied about her miscarriage
Deavan revealed on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season 2 that she lost the baby, and the couple looked sad while sharing this terrible news with the fans. However, after the show was over, Jihoon claimed that Deavan lied about her miscarriage. According to him, his ex-wife had an abortion, and he was not allowed to have a say in it. Some viewers supported Jihoon and his arguments, but many asked him to educate himself. The fans said that it is Deavan's body, and she is allowed to make a decision alone. Alas, while fans fought for Deavan on social media, she chose to remain silent on this topic. Still, this rumor became one of the biggest controversies in the history of 90 Day Fiance.
Jenelle Evans & Deavan's drama
Jenelle Evans was introduced to most people on the MTV series Teen Mom. However, Jenelle was fired from the franchise after she and her husband shot down their family dog for nipping their 4-year-old daughter. Deavan and Jenelle were supposed to work on a new podcast called GirS#!t as producers. Since the former Teen Mom star has a controversial past, fans asked for Deavan's experience of working with Jenelle. She said, "I told the [podcast] owner I would not be involved in a project that is working with someone with these allegations. It's everything I'm against." After Deavan's comment, Jenelle was fired from the podcast. In turn, Jenelle claimed that Deavan went behind her back to get her fired. Deavan's excessive fillers & old face
Deavan recently received praise on Instagram for sharing posts without any filters or makeup. Many 90 Day Fiance fans were shocked to see that the 25-year-old beauty looked much older than she really is. Fans thought that Deavan probably got excessive fillers on her cheeks and lip, and it was making her skin look different. A fan said, "The lip fillers accentuate her laugh lines... why wouldn't her esthetician point that out?" Other comments read, "Her face is so painful looking. It's aging her like crazy," and "She looks 10-15 years older than me. I'm 45." Many concerned fans told Deavan that she's just 25 and doesn't need cosmetic procedures.
Deavan giving "prison food" to her kids
In February 2021, Deavan posted her kids' lunch on Instagram with the caption, "Haters saying I only feed my kid cookies ya'll ridiculous. I cook every meal nothing wrong with having a snack or sweet snack here and there." With that said, many 90 Day Fiance fans were disappointed to see the meal that Deavan cooked, and it didn't appear to be nutritious. A fan clapped back with, "Pasta with ketchup, blue jellos, and 4 grapes. This cr*p looks like prison food." Other fans wrote that Deavan only microwaved frozen food for her kids. Someone else remembered that she couldn't even cut carrots on the show, so how would she cook an entire meal? Even though Deavan has been away from the limelight for a few months, she still manages to get the attention of 90 Day Fiance fans every now and then.
