Forner 90 Day Fiancé cast member David Murphey has revealed startling secrets about his dating life and where his relationship with Ukraine-born 90DF alum Lana stands today. Las Vegas man David became famous for his catfish storyline with Lana while appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. Given the way that David claimed to have spent almost $250,000 on Lana during their seven years of online dating, and the fact that she still refused to meet him in person, fans doubted that she was real. However, David did meet Lana on the show and even proposed to her. Later, the Kyiv beauty claimed that her relationship with David was 90% scripted, and said that the engagement was also all for show.
Although David may have wanted things to work out between him and Lana, he seems to have finally moved on. The retired computer engineer David has been spotted enjoying the company of much younger 90 Day Fiancé co-star Amira Lollysa. The unlikely couple recently went RV shopping, which is what David wanted to do with Lana. Amira posted a seductive video of herself sprawled on the RV’s bed. In another shot, she and David sipped a cocktail from the same glass. David was a part of Amira’s leap year birthday celebrations at Vegas’ Sugar Factory, even though he recently claimed that he doesn’t have a girlfriend during an Instagram LIVE.
If David’s current dating life had left his fans scratching their heads, his latest interview with The Domenick Nati Show has solved the mystery. David is currently taking to “six women” and this supposedly doesn’t include Amira. All of these women happen to be overseas in Ukraine, where 90DF's David wants to eventually settle after selling all his possessions in the U.S. “I’ve done this for 20 years,” he told Domenick. He mentioned that all the women are doing well amidst the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. David claimed that he’s not dating anyone exclusively, but said that he does plan to settle down with someone shortly. If this was any indication of one of the women being Lana, he confessed that he stopped talking to her eight months ago.
David said he last spoke to Lana a few days ago to check up on her, but added that she is “upset” and “hates” him since he “literally disappeared on her” when she couldn’t help him plan their next trip together. David now claims that he must have spent an approximate total of $3500 on Lana. He also says that he was only in a relationship with her for two years, rather than seven. Without getting into details, David confirmed that Lana never stood him up on the show. He said that he never got intimate with Lana and denied being a “sex tourist” who specifically goes to Ukraine to sleep with women. He’s gone seven years without sex since he never gets physical with someone before getting engaged. “No, I don’t think so,” admitted David, when asked if he’d ever get back together with Lana. When it comes to Amira, David said that they’re just hanging out together. They’re not dating and she’s not living with him.
According to David, his contract with 90 Day Fiancé might be over right now. However, given the amount of public and social media appearances they’re doing together; fans suspect that 90DF's David and Amira might become a part of 90 Day: The Single Life very soon. David going back and forth on his claims also suggests the statements that he gives cannot be trusted. Meanwhile, Lana has been updating her worried fans about how she’s spending each day in fear in Kyiv, along with her family and friends. Lana’s IG Stories also prove that she’s fluent n English, and these updates are making fans understand her better than they ever did when she was with David.
