Former 90 Day Fiancé cast members David Murphey and Lana aren’t together anymore but are living their best lives in their own home countries. Most viewers will remember that David had a one-sided relationship with his online girlfriend named Lana. The couple first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, where David was looking to meet with Lana for the first time. At the time of their appearance on the show, the two had been dating for about seven years. However, neither David nor viewers had seen Lana. Many who watch the show thought Lana wasn’t real and someone else could be scamming David. As it turns out, Lana was real, and she even said yes when David popped the question.
However, the couple never got married, and Lana was allegedly spotted on a dating site. In February 2021, David appeared on 90 Day Bares All and revealed that his relationship with Lana was complicated. Still, he affirmed that he wanted to be with her. A few months later, David talked about his future plans with Lana and shared that the two wanted to go on vacation to Cancún. He also revealed Lana is a police investigator waiting for her tourist visa to get approved by American authorities.
In November 2021, Lana held an Instagram Q&A session. She broke the news she isn’t with David anymore. Lana also confirmed she hasn't done any more acting roles since her debut on 90 Day Fiancé. Many followers noticed Lana called her role on the show "acting," even though 90 Day Fiancé is a reality TV series. Later in the same month, Lana unveiled her new drastic makeover on Instagram. She wore a beige-colored business suit and looked very different from her time on the show. The former reality star used the hashtag “business,” hinting she has started something of her own in Kyiv, Ukraine.
David recently revealed he hasn't talked to Lana in four months. He now seems to be enjoying his time in the United States and making new friends. The Las Vegas resident recently attended a Christmas party with his 90 Day Fiancé co-stars Tom Brooks, his girlfriend Mariah, and Larissa Lima. The pictures show David and Larissa enjoying each other’s company. The two seemed happy together, which made some 90 Day Fiancé viewers think it would be interesting to see them on-screen together. However, David isn’t interested in a spin-off. He was offered a spot on 90 Day: The Single Life, but he refused. David explained, “I turned that down several times. Probably the only time I would film a seasonal show now is when I have a major event like a marriage.”
Most viewers didn’t consider David and Lana a legitimate couple and assumed their relationship wouldn’t last. While some thought Lana was a scammer, others felt David was creepy to be dating a much younger woman. The two have moved on and are clearly enjoying their lives in their home countries. It seems David is finally over his break-up with his online girlfriend. He isn't holding out for a relationship with Lana anymore. Hopefully, 90 Day Fiancé viewers will get to see him again somewhere in the franchise.
