While many of the couples in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise have collaborated over the years, a surprising trio was revealed on Instagram. Fans were shocked to discover that notorious 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days star "Big Ed" Brown had joined season 5 fan-favorites David and Annie Toborowsky in Scottsdale, Arizona. While some fans were unhappy to see stars continue to socialize during the pandemic, many were also surprised to see Big Ed spending time with David and Annie.

Big Ed has earned plenty of ire from fans for the way he treated his ex Rosemarie Vega. While Rose has moved on to find enormous online success on YouTube, Big Ed has continued on in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The controversial reality star will next be appearing on the Discovery+ show 90 Day: The Single Life even though many fans are sick of seeing him on television. Big Ed is widely disliked for his gross behaviors, as well as the rude way he treated Rose. Meanwhile, David has risen to become a fan-favorite in the franchise along with his wife Annie. The Thailand native is featured in many spin-off shows with David, as she charms with both her personality and cooking. However, some fans dislike David due to the way he behaved on 90 Day Fiancé. Therefore, not everyone was surprised to see that Big Ed had joined David and Annie in Arizona.

David shared a photo of himself and Big Ed to his Instagram account on February 17 with a lengthy caption. "We had such a great time. Big Ed is so down to earth," he wrote. "I guess it helps when you are so close to it. Seriously he is so enjoyable to be around. For the record nobody tried to Halik anyone. Welcome to Scottsdale." Big Ed also posted the photo to his account, as did a number of fan accounts. Viewers were quick to share their opinions on the duo, with some responses more positive than others. "Cute couple," one account wrote. Big Ed also left a comment that read, "Love you bro..!!!" Another fan expressed disappointment. "We lost all respect for you," someone wrote, while others echoed similar sentiments.

David wasn't the only Toborowsky to share the meeting with fans. His wife Annie injected some more humor into the situation by posting a photo to her Instagram of her in the front seat of a car and Big Ed in the back. "We found this homeless guy walking around Old Town, Scottsdale! @thisisbiged Felt bad, so we gave him a lift. Where should we drop him off??" Annie captioned the picture. "You told me not to pull over, but I loved the hair and need the secret," David commented. The well-documented meet-up seems to have gone well, as David and Annie have been sharing their time spent with the controversial reality star. Some fans were discouraged to see the couple meeting up with Big Ed during the pandemic, as they had already received some flack for traveling to a resort.

However, many fans found humor in Annie's post even though they were surprised to see the Toborowsky couple befriending such a disliked franchise figure. Many were quick to joke along with Annie, as was Big Ed. Annie also shared a TikTok with Big Ed on her Instagram account where she poked fun at his iconic line "You are my best view." While some fans remain uncertain about the hangout, others are considering giving Big Ed a second chance now that the beloved 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple has befriended him.
