Kentucky’s reality TV star David feels like he’s won the lottery for every day he spends with Thai wife Annie. Understandably so, after all the hardships — from cultural to financial problems — that he and Annie have been through. But 90 Day Fiancé star David celebrated Valentine’s Day a little differently by gifting Annie knives! And for those saying, “Oh my Buddha,” here’s why.
Ever since his debut on TLC with 90 Day Fiancé season 5, David has undergone plenty of transformations. Not only have he and Annie become fan favorites following their 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk shenanigans, the Louisville native, 52, now also sports a younger look to match his 27-year-old wife. But before lady luck Annie arrived in David’s life, it had pretty much hit rock bottom for the 90 Day Fiancé star. David had suffered a stroke, weighed 350 pounds, had just lost his job, house, cars, and was “absolutely destitute” after separating from his ex-wife of 21 years. But marrying Annie, who he met during a Thailand trip, also brought along dowry problems and fights revolving around his alcohol issues and finances. And even though David housed Annie in a friend’s storage facility and later couch surfed, the 90 Day Fiancé couple found success via their spin-offs, even landing a solo one. Flash forward to now, not only are David and Annie hosts of Spice It Up With David & Annie, but they also do catering and virtual cooking lessons.
And a Valentine’s Day gift to help Annie with her career is just what 90 Day Fiancé star David chose to give his talented wife this year. While posting a sweet picture of herself posing with her new weapons and showcasing her sweetest smile, Annie Suwan Toborowsky thanked her “mister everything” on Instagram. “It is not just a gift but it is a great tool,” gushed Annie in the caption before explaining that she shall be using the knives “for work and make money.” According to the picture, David appears to have given Annie an expensive set of Japanese Kamikoto Honshu steel knives. The IG page for the brand notes that each Kamikoto blade is “handcrafted from high-grade steel in Japan." How lucky is Annie!
“You are my Queen and every day is Valentine’s Day to me. I love you my Teerak” wrote 90 Day Fiancé celeb David in the comments. Meanwhile, fans too seemed to be impressed with David’s gift, most of Annie’s comments saying, “brilliant gift” and “I’m jealous.”
While some fans also advised David to not “get cross” with his 90 Day Fiancé star wife now, the couple seems to be more in love than ever as per their PDA on social media. Having recently revealed that they both suffered from COVID-19 in 2020, David and Annie had been vacationing in the Dominican Republic. They just returned to Scottsdale, Arizona, to resume regular culinary and "boom boom" programming.
