Iconic 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey and Stacey Silva are looking very different in their throwback pics, with TLC fans thinking they actually were “cute” before plastic surgery. The Silva twins are all set to return on season 2 of Darcey & Stacey this summer, with new drama and plenty of tears. And naturally, fans are expecting Darcey and Stacey to go bigger on their hair, botox, and flashy fashion. But it’s always shocking whenever 90 Day Fiancé viewers stumble upon old photos of former brunettes Darcey and Stacey with their natural smiles. This happened yet again after Stacey shared unseen photos of her twin Darcey, in which Florian Sukaj and Georgi Rusev’s partners looked nothing like their current selves.
Fans have seen Middletown residents Darcey and Stacey obsess over their looks since the start of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Back then, little did anyone know that Darcey would spend four seasons looking for love in the wrong places, AKA Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks but find her “the one” on a solo spin-off instead. But alongside Darcey’s hunt for the engagement ring, fans also saw the 45-year-old look different with each season, as she embraced plastic surgery and got a mommy makeover with Stacey. And even though the 90 Day Fiancé twins have always accepted using plastic surgery to reverse their aging look, seeing throwback photos of Darcey and Stacey always manages to leave fans feeling shocked.
In their upcoming season of Darcey & Stacey, as Darcey tries to figure out if she and Georgi are really meant to be, Florian asks Stacey if they should have a baby. “If I can’t give Florian a baby, he might leave me one day,” says Stacey in the trailer. But the 90 Day Fiancé star’s Instagram Stories hint at everything being okay in their married life. While Stacey Silva shared photos of herself and Florian on a dinner date, she also happened to repost a string of old childhood memories of herself, Darcey, their late brother Michael, dad Mike, cousins, and grandma. One of the photos showed Darcey and Stacey on Christmas of 1989, with dark, curly hair and glasses at the age of 13.
A 90 Day Fiancé fan page 90dayfiancefanatics2 reposted Stacey’s IG stories and their followers had some interesting observations to share. “Whoa (in Joey’s voice, lol)” joked one fan and another one echoed, “they were so pretty without the surgeries.” One of the comments noted, “wow, they sure have had tons of work done on their face and bodies,” while someone else compared Darcey and Stacey to New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein. A newer comment also calls the 90 Day Fiancé stars “the cat lady” while adding they “literally have no torsos.”
Darcey and Stacey have been open about getting plastic surgery done, together, because they wouldn’t want to look different after the procedure being twins. But 90 Day Fiancé fans have seen the Silva sisters transform right before their eyes since their TLC debut in 2017 while having an older trailer of Darcey and Stacey’s first reality TV show “The Twin Life” to compare. While Darcey and Stacey may pause the plastic surgery down the line, as of now, wondering what filter they’ve used or which procedure they’ve done appears to be many fans’ favorite guessing game.
